Finished Mary Gentle's A Secret History. I liked it a lot. Highly recommended - can't wait to get the rest of the series.
Now I'm on to Viriconium by M John Harrison...

OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Reading Prince of Deadly Weapons by Boston Teran.
A bit tacky at times but still a page turner.

Still on Night of Knives as I haven't had too much time recently... I have found that with every page turned, the story gets more exciting, and Kiska gets more teenage-brat annoying whiny ho.
Temper is cool though!

Finally, Night of Knives was delivered this afternoon. Number 156, too. I'm going to enjoy this...
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Was distracted by various things (internet, pork, nipple beams) but finished Night Of Knives. Interesting, to say the almost least, insomuch that the least would be something ':)', or ';)', but whole words are sizeably larger than those, so fits the classification almost least... to say the least .

just finished the farseer trilogy - overall i thought it was pretty good, an enjoyable read at the very least. I believe a few people here dont like it in the slightest, and i can understand why, writing a whole series from only 1 real POV is a bit risky and Hobb does have a tendancy to repeat herself a little too much but throughout and especially towards the end it had me hooked like a big human fish
