I just finished
Bram Stoker's "Dracula." Holy hell, boring! Some parts are pretty interesting but the characters talk and talk and talk!

William Shakespeare's "The Tempest." Short but amusing.

@ Falco. Try to track down a copy of the 6 part Tv series of "Neverwhere". It was a fairly low budget BBC drama and does not quite hit the heights of the novel,but the spirit of the book is there. More intriguing than mesmerising.

Reading the second novella in "The Anvil Of the World". Also reading excerpts from GRRMs "Rretrospective".(see GRRM thread )His autobiographical pieces, on his writing development and the SF/Fantasy publishing industry are touching are insightful.

@DrBloodmoney1: thanks for the clarification. I hate Brooks' work, so that's why I was concerned for your well being.

I've read almost all of Stephen King's stuff, but there was such a huge gap between books in the Dark Tower saga that I never even got to Wastelands...based on what people have been saying on these forums, maybe I should go pick up the remainder of the series

I started reading Gunslinger yesterday, almost finished it as well. So, is no-one re-reading the Dark Tower books ready for no.7 or can you remember whats happened so far?

Fear and loathing in Las, vegas eh' ?

My brother bought that movie not long ago, I havent read the book myself. The movie was alright, Johnny Depp did an awesome job from my impression anyway, but I had to leave at around 2/3 the way. THe movie just wasnt going anwhere,.

Oponn, sometimes it depends on the order you read the books in as well. My best friend read Interview with a Vampire first and I read The Vampire Lestat first. Louis was his fav. vampire while Lestat was my fav. vampire. But you're right, Lestat was a big butt in Interview.

Juggling between City of Saint and Madmen by Vandermeer and The Emperor of Dreams by Clark Ashton Smith. I reccomend Smith to any fans of Hovecraft.

@Nak.Yep ,I spent half an hour this morning going through every box to find the book i wanted...and yes , it was in the last bleedin' box.Arghhh.

Just finished "The Healthy Dead"...three cheers to the royal couple (ing) what a coronation.

Reading : Another short story from the "Tales Of the Bronze Age" anthology. "Blood Wolf" form the Nantucket, alt-history thing.

Im currently halfway through Royal Assasin by Robin Hobb. This is a fantastic trilogy so far! First book was rather slow but the great ending made up for it.

Damn i have a huge pile of books here waiting to be read...
