I bought The Naturalist in a sale to read on the plane. It's an especially terrible book, and my advice is to stay far away from this pile of drivel.
Naturalist by Andrew Mayne?

Finished LORDS & LADIES by Pratchett. Another cracker by the master featuring the Witches! Some truly great stuff in that book.
Started on THE WINDS OF KHALAKOVO by Bradley Beaulieu, and so far I'm quite intrigued by it. Solid writing and pacing with very interesting characters. I adore the concept of mountainous islands where the cities are high up in the mountains and on precipices, enough that they need and use windships, and there is still water below and small enclaves. I thought I'd have some trouble with the Russian names, but so far I'm not at all. GREAT stuff. Glad I bought the whole series ($3) on kindle sale yesterday!
I have read another book by Beaulieu and I quite liked it. Like you I too love the premise of this series. Will pick it up soon.
Finished Blinding Knife. Loved it. This is series is a lot of fun to read.
Also finished Sylvain Neuvel's Only Human. An ok conclusion to a series that had started off to a lot of promise.
