Just started Milan's The Dinosaur Lords now. Cool idea (knights on dinosaurs!) and a great cover so I'm giving it a shot.

Oh, silly me I forgot to put it on thread. I blasted through that entire series including Nemesis Games. Leviathan Wakes, Calibans War were awesome. Excellent, extremely entertaining books. Abaddon's Gate... was also very good.

Cibola Burn I didn't really like. The pacng and the structure didn't really work for me.

Nemesis Games was excellent. I did not expect Corey to go that far. People change the game board but very few authors break it. Now I am waiting for the next book.

I loved Blindsight; Echopraxia was good but less so. His Rifter trilogy (four book trilogy to add to the mind-fuckery) was my favorite though.

I just spent a week at the beach. Didn't read a damn thing though I did listen to 30 hrs of the Bonehunters. I'd forgotten a lot more than I thought though I did skip some of the later Mappo parts - wasn't feeling it.

Don't think so, judging by comments on Amazon and goodreads, far from it. It just hit all the right buttons for me.

Finished up Veiled and Killing Pretty the most recent installments of the Sandman Slim and Alex Verus series and strangely enough they had very similiar themes in loose cannons that are the protagonists attempting to work with others inside an organization and mostly failing at it. Both where solid but nothing beyond whats expected of those series and authors by now.

Next up is the Night Watch have had the series for ages but never tried.

Finished Shadowmarch by Tad Williams and I thought it was very good. He does a great job of moving the plot along by dropping little mysteries along the way without a lot of unnecessary fights and battle scenes as a lot of authors do. Add to it some good characters making it an enjoyable read.

I'm continuing on my Tad Williams kick and am about a third of the way into Happy Hour in Hell and I am really liking it so far. Williams is moving his way up on my list of authors.

Recently finished Scarlet Gospels by Clive Barker. What a disappointment. Been looking forward to this series for 5 years and couldn't believe how bad it was. If it wasn't for the fact that it was written by Clive Barker I would've quit reading it :S

Currently reading Poseidon's Wake, the 3rd book in the Poseidon's Children trilogy by Alastair Reynolds. I loved his Revelation Space books and was expecting something as grandiose, but it's a lot more slower paced. Not bad, just not as good as I've come to expect from this fantastic author.

Today I finished reading the ChaosWar Saga by Raymond Feist. It was a lot better than I had expected, but, honestly, my expectations were rather low. But I suppose it was a somewhat fitting end to the two boys from Castle Crydee.
