Didn't see this posted yet... apparently we're getting a new trade paperback print run of the main series.

With millions of copies in print, the Malazan Book of the Fallen series is truly an empire—one of the most iconic and celebrated series in epic fantasy. This series has never been fully available in paperback, and we’re very excited to announce a re-release and repackage of the full 10-book series in trade paperback starting next winter, with one book a month from February through November 2027.

The amazing cover art is by the talented Marc Simonetti, and might be familiar to some as the case art from the Broken Binding special editions in the UK, which we loved so much we wanted to put them front and center (with their gracious permission.)

Looks nice! Considering how mismatched all the original prints were over the decade (and how many covers seemed to have nothing to do with the contents) it'll be cool for there to be a new run with consistent sizes, layouts, and nice covers.

I'm a little confused about who is actually doing this new print run. They say "we" so I guess Reactor magazine (formerly Tor.com) is saying that on behalf of Tor publishing?

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

It looks like Tor and Bantam are both producing new trade paperbacks with "new" cover art next year. Tor is using the Marc Simonetti art from the French editions, while Bantam is using Subterranean Press art. Unfortunately, Amazon has taken to using the new cover art for listings for the current trades, so there's been a number of complaints over on the subreddit with people thinking they're getting the new art, but instead receiving the older editions.
