How’s it going people? I don’t come around too often these days. Hello to all. Maybe this gets pinned so others have a place to say hi when they stop in. The days when I was on here every day was peak internet usage.

Yo. The world is on fire, but otherwise not too bad?

So you finally acquired an actual luxury yacht and now you're too good for us, huh

Hey there, the good old days, nothing like a bit of nostalgia.

Good to see you're alive and hopefully all is well your way too!

Takes a weirdo to know a weirdo!

Was thinking about this place on the way to work this morning.

I've been kicking about here 18/19 years. I know there a lot longer serving members than me, this is not an "I'm old meber hur hur" flex, but thats nearly half my life, if I stay here for much longer it WILL be half my life and constantly rising there after.

We've seen people go form spotty teenagers right through to responsible married people with real jobs and kids that are nearly spotty teenagers.

I wonder on occasion what happened to people that dropped off. some have simple explanations > Like Toby, we can safely assume is serving time for grand larceny.

But has someone died and we don't know?

How would we know?

My wife knows I've met some of you in person, play fantasy football yearly, and go on here to talk about books and such regularly. She might say something.

I've wondered about it from time to time.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

The only member who dropped off REALLY unceremoniously that I wonder if something bad happened in their life was Andorion. He was a heavy poster for years and then nothing. I hope he's okay, he was genuinely a nice dude.

Ah shit, aye. Andorion used to contribute a lot here, I enjoyed his posts. It's now making me think of other members like that.

I know the website has had issues with account emails, I wonder if that contributes too.

I found the ME forum site locked me out if I couldn't remember my password. As in, the site mechanics couldn't aptly pull my old password up for me to reset it. I only got back in thanks to Whisperzzzzzz sending me an email to my gmail. He's the only reason I got back in. Perhaps that has happened to others, too, but they weren't lucky enough to have a Whisperzzzzzz?

Yeah, unfortunately email notifications are fooked, and apparently it doesn't look likely there will be a fix anytime soon. If ever.
Because the format is so old. Like most of you. Not me though.

Sombra is eternal. The rest of our lives are like gnats to him.

Twins are going to be 9 soon, where has that time gone?

I've meant to look in here more often but never got around to it.

Hey dude! :)

I like that. I'm not "old", I'm "eternal".
