if it hasn't went to print yet, could I, perchance, be cheeky and suggest a few edits on the blurb? some of it reads.... awkwardly to me

Good to hear the project is still alive.

My original Amazon account that had that review was linked to a hotmail account that got hacked and hijacked (which didn't net the crooks much, since I made the Amazon account to do the review and had no payment info on it). But that particular review is lost in the internet ether now, which is why the book's always been in the back of my head.

Congrats on finally hitting the next milestone!

And I want to state that Ment has out-weaseled me by far in this game.

Here's what I had as your review:

Mentalist – Malazan Empire

Okay, done. That's some seriously dark ending.

I'm intrigued. Piecing together the world's history is fun. The characters areoften archetypal, but the story's entertaining, and is a nice combo of elementswe may have seen elsewhere.

I will certainly be looking out for the sequel.

There were some editing niggles, but nothing major. The use of specificterminology for times and distances was a bit disconcerting at first, but thenI just started subbing in familiar units mentally, and the irritation wentaway.

I think there's something with the head of the foremost character sort of looking like it is an unfinished artwork that is fading into the other two characters. If that changes, it probably looks much more composed.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
