I was just looking at the Draconian Family Tree and noticed that Anomander Rake and Lady Envy have two children: Nimander Golit and Phaed.
Do you think that they have been introduced in some way in the series already?
If not does anyone have any theories as to what role they will play later on?

Phaed may have appeared on Drift Avalii in HoC.

I thought we had established that the Phaed in House of Chains was his grand daughter. Because it was said that all of Rake's children were similar to him in that they distanced themselves from their kin.

I don't necessarily think that because Andarist said they were grandchildren that that is what they were... SE does like to lead us around with things and then change them around to suit later

Did Phaed on Drift Avlii act like a draconean soletaken though? I kinda doubt she'd leave any edur alive if she was

My argument as well Morgoth. I think that was the reason we, or so i thought, had agreed she wasn't the same Phaed.

Yeap I agree. Their grandchildren I can accept being relatively weak.. but not their children.

L'oric isn't soletaken, so why should Phaed be?
If she was born after Tiams last demise she might not be.
Her father is yes, through Tiam juice.
Her aunty Spite is a soletaken true.. but we don't know that Envy is.

Well, it could just be that Baruk got it wrong on the draconian tree. I do think Phaed will be draconian... To have come from two such eminent parents must mean she has some pretty awesome powers anyway...

So is Mael and Andarist.
Andarist of whom we know didnt drink tiam juice which is why he is so much older but is actually the youngest.

Well, actually we do not know that.. it is a one possible explanation for his much older appearance, but the renouncing draconian blood thingy he asked about is one possibility also..
