New Erikson Malazan murder mystery novella in the works

Steven Erikson was on the Ten Very Big Books podcast and mentioned he took a few weeks off from Walk in Shadow to begin work on a murder mystery novella (or short novel) starring Flicker from Crack'd Pot Trail (see about the 1:08:00 mark).

He references the British crime series Midsomer Murders and says:

I've kind of taken that idea of an English estate, an ancestral pile, loaded it up with characters and I'm now proceeding to knock them all off. It's fun.
