Also, Tatts, not sure why you feel you have to give it back on your next turn? Just play the card, take Morgoth's fragment, and immediately do a transaction to give it back to him, easy peasy.

Guild Ships/Trade Convoys allows you to do transactions with non-neighbours, but it doesn't change who is your neighbour.
