I am a fan of tennis star Naomi Osaka and saw her on television just win her 4th Grand Slam. Just as tragedy strikes the golf world with Tiger Woods and his car crash, perhaps there is a new sports sensation who could change the tennis world.

Is Naomi Osaka the new Tiger Woods?

She's currently very dominant. I don't think she'll dominant for as long as Serena Williams has though. Will be interesting to see how she does on the other surfaces this year. I think Simona Halep will have her number in one of those future venues.

I'm waiting to see if she ends up with a sex addiction and can't drive a car.

That's a good one, Tsundoku! Actually, I hope Osaka ends up becoming more like Serena Williams and less like say Jennifer Capriati. When Osaka hits the clay courts at the French Open and the grass courts at Wimbledon later this year, we will see how it looks for her. So far, she only seems to dominate on hard courts.

Naomi Osaka withdraws from the French Open. Hope she's able to get back quickly. Would suck to be dealing with something like that in the spotlight of a major tennis championship.

Yet another thing she has in common with Tiger.
