I am finally on the VR bandwagon. Got an oculus quest last night.
So far I have only played beat Sabre but it’s fantastic. I think on hard and above it can even count as aerobic excercise.
Now that the resolution is improved and there is no screen door effect I really think this will be the future! Why own a monitor when you can have six in vr, for work, for play, for movies.
So any game recommendations, app recommendations? I’d also love to do some VR travel or experiences.

Beat Sabre is great, but you really should try out Superhot. It is amazing.

Off the top of my head I remember hearing Boneworks should be good, if it doesn't make you puke.
There was also that Job Simulator game that was really popular a few years ago.
I really wish I had room for "Room scale" VR.

Vader Immortal is awesome. Absolute must, even if you arent a Star Wars fan. Fighting with lightsabers in VR, it is spectacular.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

And the Slow Mo guys have some very cool VR videos.

Just bought a new pc, with a rtx 3080 12 gb. But unlike before, there wasn't one pc game that I really wanted to play. But then I remembered about Half Life Alyx. And I bought a oculus quest 2, connected it to my pc with air link.
I totally knocked off my feet, by how immersive this is. Even just the room with the menu you start from is great. The 360' movies on youtube are impressive. I played echo vr and was suprised at how fun it was to move in zero-g, to throw a disc or even the simple things like pressing a button.
And then Half Life Alyx. Such a immensely immersive experience. So detailed, interactive. And damn scary, with zombies really coming to you. Also played SW squadrons in VR: great experience. Installed Half Life Black Mesa, with vorpx to play in VR, great fun, though now I got sick for the first time. So my conclusion is that current vr tech is really something else. Anyone else as enthusiastic? Or considering to buy a set?
