I’m not following what your asking here.

He's asking about region-locked games. It was a really big thing for decades for many systems and prevented a ton of people who lived in Region A from playing games made in Regions B, C, D, E etc and then players from Region B couldn't play games from Regions A, C, D etc. and so on despite ostensibly having the same system. It went from the cartridges or discs being actually different enough that they couldn't play or software barriers that recognized which region the games were from.

PS4 games and DLC were region-locked pretty often. You maybe never ran into it because you didn't play that many games outside the US mainstream.

As of right now, PS5 games aren't region-locked.

Are you using the same PSN account? That might be the issue.

With 3/4 I believe there were 2 different OSs, so there was less inter-dependence. 4 and 5 share the same basic OS, so they're going to be much more reliant on that.

You may need to look into any "family sharing" options the PlayStation may have.

I'll get one eventually but I don't really see the need for one at the minute. There's not a game out that says to me I must buy a PS5 to play it on. That'll probably change though with the new God of War...
