Finished today.

Meh

Ipshank and Manask woohoo I guess, decent comedy relief, but on the whole the book left me nearly as cold as last time.

A decent ending for Greymane, Kyle's metamorphosis happens a bit to rapidly from the wide eyed recruit early RotCG for me.

Bars is still a badass.

But overall this book always bothered me for the ridiculousness of the storm wall.

If the lady was able to protect them long enough to build the fucking wall they didn't need the fucking wall.

Blegh in short.

I finished tonight too, and it left a similar unsatisfied taste in the mouth as Macros describes. The Crimson Guard and Greymane are the most interesting bits of the book, with the longer narrative arch.

Toll the Hounds thread Aptymcapterson?

With that said, I'm struggling to find my TtH. Might have to read it on Kobo

I accidentally made the TTH thread back in september.

https://forum.malaza...oll-the-hounds/

These re-read threads have become my topics of shame because my reading has completely fallen over a cliff during the summer.

Apt, no shame. Life and yourself always takes priority.

I shall join on TTH once I've finished Grass. See you guys over on that thread.
