I'm just going to have to come to terms with the fact that self-vote suiciding will forever be referred to as "pulling a JPK" now, aren't I? ~ JPK

I think we need to take out 1 of Morgoth's space docks else he wins. Anyone able to do that?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I noticed in the new expansion that bioweapons tech has gotten even better. Now you just need a ship with bombard capabalities in orbit to use it. Which makes sense, why would a pds protect you from bioweapons.
I think you've misunderstood something.
Previously x89 just required a ship in orbit with bombardment but cost an action to clear out all infantry (so at least two actions to clear everyone out)
Now it doesn't cost an action, but is part of the bombardment step so pds would protect you.
I’m talking about the new tech tree in the upcoming expansion. Lots of cool changes there!

I don't think X-89 is changing in the new expansion??

No? I saw a tech tree, but it might have been an unoficial one

He doesn't have the discard action cards SO, that's in my hand at the moment.

I think there's supposed to be a whole new colour of techs coming, but I don't think X-89 will be in it as that is already a green tech.

It is probably a Base + Omega + Expansion one, and you're mis-identifying the Omega change as an expansion change

According to Morgoth's post he has already claimed 3 SOs, so it doesn't really matter right?

Yeah you are right. I even went back through all the scoring. He has scored the 2 racial tech, threaten a homeworld and destroy last troop with bombardment. So that means he isn't winning this status phase.

Right, so we need to make sure IH can't score a 2VP PO if we don't want the game to end this round.
Don't think he'll be able to get to a Homeworld, even if he has In the Silence of Space (I believe the action card deck has been shuffled, as I've seen War Machine get used again, and I used it earlier in the game). He's not near enough to the 2 techs of each color objective to get there this round either. So I guess he won't be winning this round either.

Actually, we need to try to stop IH from being able to score one of his 2 unfulfilled SOs in order to prevent him from winning. He already has enough techs researched for the 2 techs of 2 colours 1VP PO, so if he can score one of his SOs, he wins.

Twelve can also win by scoring the 16 resources PO, 1 SO and torkan, or 2 SO.
Morgoth can also win by taking torkan.
I'm betting he has the action card which makes all wormholes neighbours so he can project a lot of force in that direction. I'd play diplomacy to protect torkan if I were you.
I was hoping to draw an SO I could score, unfortunately I drew one I couldn't score so it's probably going into another round.

Twelve shouldn't be able to take Torkan unless he gets really lucky, and even with In the Silence of Space, Morgoth shouldn't be able to get enough ships to it to take it either, so I'll likely Diplomacy Quann as I had planned to prevent anyone from coming through the Wormhole.

1, I cant score either of my secrets, as last round can attest. And 2 Blend made it so there is no way I can realistically take the planet off him. If I had a secret I could score I would give it a try with Blend but I dont.
