Yep, I'll post it on my turn.

Damn blend, I thought I'd lose but not that badly! You rolled well.

Sounds like tatts has spark a rebellion.

Feeding twelve enough TG to score the 2vp agenda seems shortsighted, but I'd love to see twelve pull off a win from this position.

No kidding, that definitely went way better than I expected. I spent a good hour playing with the TI4 Battle Calculator to figure out what the best army I could send to fight yours was, while also keeping Torkan safe from Twelve, and my borders safe from Tatts. In the end, the Ceasefire was the only thing that assured me peace of mind, so thanks to Tatts for agreeing to an immediate trade. I likely would have done something different if he hadn't agreed to that.

Still, IH's destroyer II's are no joke!

Okay now I'm just confused. Tatts is making crazy enough deals that he must think he can win but I have zero idea how or how these deals help him.

I'm thinking he wants Light/Wave Deflector early enough in the round to be able to get close to yours or my homeworld this round in preparation to try for the HW agenda next round - particularly if he has an SO that he can claim at the same time.

Destroyer 2 was a tech which I'd largely ignored as not that good, but I have to say that I've been pleasantly surprised. In the right circumstances it's possibly the best value unit in the game.

Yes that is what I thought but if morgoth plays tech this round he can't research it which seems a bizarre thing to pay for, and I can't see what paying twelve to attack rex achieves.

I forgot that was an SO as I've never seen it scored, 4tg for a 50:50 shot at an SO surprises me though.

It is certainly the bane of my fighter fleets!

I noticed in the new expansion that bioweapons tech has gotten even better. Now you just need a ship with bombard capabalities in orbit to use it. Which makes sense, why would a pds protect you from bioweapons.

It's in use in this game. You're prime to research it too.

It looks like you are veiled threatening IH but your research will be red and blue for a more secure 2 points.

I think you've misunderstood something.

Previously x89 just required a ship in orbit with bombardment but cost an action to clear out all infantry (so at least two actions to clear everyone out)

Now it doesn't cost an action, but is part of the bombardment step so pds would protect you.

IH - not sure why you put that action card use AFTER your planets instead of up in the action portion of your post... :p

And you coloured it white so I couldn't see it at all and thought you just posted "wait and see if I get sabotaged" with no AC :p

I removed the colour tag
