Noo. I started with 3/3/2. Spent 1 on tech and 1 on Star Forge, and the tactical, leaving me at 2/3/0. I also played Leadership for 3 tokens which I placed in strategy, leaving me at 2/3/3

Hey D’rek, I have commodities to trade too, sorry, I forgot we could trade despite being far away from each other. I realise you’ve only got TG left, So It would seem fair to do a 3:4 swap.

You've already swapped out all of twelves commodities, tatts commodities have also been promised to be swapped out.
I only did 2:2 with Twelve, so far. He has 2c more. It was Tatts I previously promised the 4:4 with.

But I'll not pick leadership or technology if you swap my extra commodity.
Fine by me, go for it on your turn. Though if you're willing to wait until later in the round I'd prefer doing it on my next turn so I can avoid excessive Mentak taxation.
Despite all expectations Yin are a 2 commodity race.
Oh yeaaaaaah. Getting mixed up with someone else..

I'm happy to swap whenever this round if you are willing.
Ok, great. With no further swaps with Twelve coming it probably doesn't make any difference, but let's wait until my turn just in case there ends up being reason after all.

Normally I would take you up on this, but in my present circumstances this just ends up being a 3:3 for me and feeding Mentak 1, right?

@Nom - well, I've got enough trades lined up that even with getting pillaged on each one I have enough resources to build two dreadnoughts + replacement infantry/fighters before the end of this round so they'll be ready to go first thing next round. Additionally, I have the prerequisites to research Dreadnought 2 next round. You've got only a few trade goods to spend on new ships this round. So here's how this can go:
Option A} You give me Promise of Protection and we exchange Ceasefires.
Option B} Those dreadnoughts (and the rest) are coming straight for you. Good luck with that.
Your choice.

So much for peaceful trading
I've noticed that D'rek is usually pretty aggressive towards her neighbors. And this is the Mentak. As the Hacan I'd probably be less than friendly towards them as well.
IH do you by chance have an idea where your Saar ball might be headed next round?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Well sure, when I was playing Nekro and L1z1x I was! You kinda *have* to be aggressive with factions like that. Even then I mostly got along fine with Tatts on one side in both games
The Arborec game was supposed to be my try at a peaceful eco style but it ended prematurely. Hacan was supposed to be the second run at that... but Nom went Mentak and declared war anyway.

I mean you were pretty aggressive playing the normally relatively peaceful jol nar.
The saar ball is probably headed to mecatol rex, the route will be determined by the board state and objectives.

Only towards the pirates. And everyone else found it necessary to attack me regardless. And if I recall I was towards the bottom in points so it wasn't the best strategy.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

With the war sun on one side all I really wanted was Starpoint/New Albion, then I'd have let you flourish in peace, your prosperity is my prosperity

I see. So you pick the faction that is most geared towards destroying mine, you want the entirety of the system that is equidistant between us, you want to pillage me continuously, and you couldn't even be bothered to say a single thing to me about it? It's not like I was hiding my intentions - the moment I researched gravity drive, why didn't you say anything, huh? No negotiation, no questions, not even a warning to spare yourself a token?
So be it. You chose to play hardball, don't be surprised that I am playing it back. Heck, you wouldn't even speak to me directly before, Nom. You had no problem addressing Morgoth directly, but instead of actually responding to anything I said you just talked about me in 3rd person (e.g. "the kitties") like I wasn't even there.
Now you've shot yourself in the foot and at last you speak to me directly. Now you tell *me* that if I just give up the entire border system you'll "let me flourish in peace".
You're not in a position to "let" me do anything.
It's {A} or {B}, Nom. Choose.

I'm not sure of your plans, but based on your stated desire to take arinam-meer I'm sure we can come to an agreement.
Can we agree an equitable split of teq /torc, which planet would you like? I can move in and move out.
I'd also like to use wellons tech skip before you take that planet if possible.
