Leaving the Jol Nar alone is always a recipe for disaster

I don't think so when it's the poorest player ha. You and D'rek politically pointing IH or Twelve towards me. I'll be looking at my racial to dissuade this and hopefully TGs down the line too.

What, how are you the poorest player?!

Lol, well that makes the decision easier for Twelve

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Ah the mentak, I enjoyed playing a game without them in, but I do enjoy the extra dimension their cheerful piracy adds to the game.

I think they will be slightly less powerful in a 6 player game, but I still think they are the best faction in a 9 player game. Mirror computing plus looting is just that good.

I can't decide who to play, I'm drawn to trying one of the factions which messes with a core game mechanic like arborec, saar or neckro, but my slice seems better set up for something like a letnev or a l1z1x.

Seems like a pretty good Saar slice, what with the two asteroid fields and lots of planets.

Not surprising, given the supernova and two very good border systems you'd want to fight for... but Muaat next to Mentak sounds dicey. Not sure you're going to have enough resources to get that second war sun up with Mentak taking trade goods, and Mentak can easily get PDS 2 + graviton which is anathema for war suns...

For sure, Mentak is a bad neighbour, but I felt I had to go for the Muaat given the chance.

I kinda want to play Winnu or Arborec again. But there looks to be some serious races in play and I should probably try something new. So I'm going to try my hand with the Yin
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Interesting, despite winning with the Yin I am still very unsure of their strengths, will be interesting to see what you do with them!

Well I saw the potential for all the 2 influence planets I can gobble up and with the Jol Nar as 1 of my neighbors I feel confident Tatts wont be taking any of my planets

We can discuss borders between us. What may seem obvious to me may not be obvious to you.

Few questions I have;

When I spend a CC for technology secondary I can resolve the primary. This means to research 2 technologies I'd need to spend a CC + 6 resources?

Integrated economy do you need to have the resources to build when taking over a system?

It works the same as any other build action, you need to spend resources to build the unit. You can't use sarween tools.
