No probably not. I think EA just had an investor call and went over a couple of years expectations, and DA4 was not on their expected list through fiscal year 2022, which ends I think March 2023.

Didn't watch it because it seemed.. meh. And a lot of it doesn't really appeal to me. I did read that the show had a segment about Season 2 of Fall Guys coming and that it will be medieval themed (with brutal new courses and new knick·knacks to acquire). I grabbed Fall Guys from PS Plus (I guess it's one of, if not the, most downloaded game ever for PlayStation)....eh, it was good for about a solid hour of distraction before I got bored of it. During my play I rarely got in front of line up, so you get screwed, unless you are lucky everyone shits on each other and you do the ol' hare vs tortouise stroll through. I think maybe I made it to the 3rd round twice. I've infrequently have played it since. Maybe like 15-20 minutes here or there after playing something else before turning off my PS4. I'll give the medieval season a looksy, it'll be something new, so, *shrugs* why not

Next week there will be another Ubisoft Forward. Gods & monsters has been renamed to "Immortals: Fenix Rising" and given a rating in Taiwan, so that's likely to show up.

Sony might do another event 1st half of Sept (so the rumours go)

Sept 24th Tokyo Game Show kicks off with another Xbox showcase. Also Squeeenix will be showing off Babylon's Fall and some other things.

Not just "Fenix Rising" but Immortals: Fenyx Rising because the title wasn't terrible enough as it was.

Gods & Monsters at least had a little bit of allure, though still terribly generic.

THis "Immortals" game is apparently coming out Dec 2nd, as per Xbox Store listings.

Also, Ubi gonna announce a Prince of Persia remake. Most likely Sands of Time.

I suppose that might make the Ubi thing on Thur worth watching. Even though I feel that there's a bit too much Legion stuff (There was also a gameplay demo during the Future Games Show)

3D Realms did a thing for (mostly) retro FPS games. featuring some cool announcements.



It's got a certain tone to it, but it's certainly a thing that might be worth watching. Maybe.

I played the whole trilogy a few years back, so I'm really not crazy about it (though having devcent controls in Warrior Within and Two Thrones would be nice), but it's a big thing for the console-folk, bringing games back from 2 gens ago.

It sure sounds like Gods & Monsters is gonna be another open-world sandbox; but who knows? maybe we can be pleasantly surprised.

Watching the Forward show.

So, Immortals, I hate how generic the world and the customizable character design looks but the open world concept is cool. They really did set out to steal Breath of the Wilds look.

Can't believe the game is coming out December 3rd. That's 3 Ubisoft open world games coming out within a 40 day window. And then in February/March you've got Farcry 6.

Edit: okay the actual gameplay looks modernized but boy are those character models ugly.

I believe there's some God of War stuff ripped off there, too. Besides the whole Greek mythos thing.

Eh, I like the focus on puzzles. And I don't own a switch, so I don't have Breath of the Wild to compare it to, *shrug*

Anyhow, last time a company tried to steal bits from Zelda and God of War, we got Darksiders, which was great (imho). So I'm certainly curious about this.

Something I'm curious to hear about is availability in Europe, specifically Scandinavia.

Maybe MS and Sony have already made an announcement but last generation Xbox completely skipped Denmark the first year after release and I think the PS4 was limited for a while.
