That werewolf trailer is peculiar. Is. It some kind of eco game where nature is fighting mankind?

Supposedly, as a werewolf, you are more tuned to the "corruption" that is being caused by the Wyrm, which is embodied in the anti-environmental actions of certain corps.
So yeah, there's an eco-terrorist angle to the whole thing.

All right . PS5
And... we start with GTA5. Lolz
Spiderman. Holiday 2020. Impressive very Particle-y
New GT. Expected.
new Rachet. Huh. Insomniac's been busy.
A squeeenix exclusive. Also coming to PC.
and... something from Annapurna? didn't catch that. (Stray)
new IP from Housemarque. a 3rd person bullet hell shooter?
Oh, a Sackboy platformer. Sumo Digital's been busy. That's their second game announced today.
A multi-player racing derby game
This... looks familiar. Kena: Bridge of Spirits
New Oddworld game. Is it next-gen now?
OOH, Ghostiwire Tokyo premiere.. Hmm. Looks like a shooter with powers, all right
The Far Shore... is that a strategy game?
Godfall is giving me Darksiders vibes with those aesthetics
Solar Ash Kingdom... yeah I remeber this one. another EGS exclusive
Hitman 3? That's kinda random
Astro Bot is back with a non VR game? looks like.
Whoa, Little Devil Inside? This game's not dead? lol, makes up for Microsoft showing Scorn, I guess.
no FIFA? NBA 2K? huh
Octodad's devs new game- Bugsnax. look suitably weird
Welp, Demon's Souls remake confirmed
OOh, DeathLoop too? niiice. No release date tho
RESI 8. looks... nice
New capcom IP. Pragmata
Horizon 2? Horizon Forbidden West. Nice, underwater exploration, deserts, and climbing.
Decent lineup.

Some exciting stuff. A lot to process for sure.
Returnal is a dumb name.
My excitement for Godfall has dropped a little. Want to see more though.
Cats win overall. game - Stray. And holographic cat in Pragmata.
Not feeling the design of the PS5. I can imagine the design discussion when they are whiteboarding ideas - "lets contour it so it looks like it has Hermes god helmet wings." I get the feeling the access to ports is going to be less then optimal.

Stray, Goodby Volcano High have Steam pages.
Jett: the Far Shore and Solar Ash are EGS exclusives. And Godfall, obv.
That Squeeenix game is a console exclusive, also coming to PC.
Pragmata is a wild card (EDIT: coming everywhere, apparently)
Xbox getting shafted, as both Beth games are apparently timed console exclusives.
Kena is a Sony console exclusive. Coming to EGS. Best new IP of the show, hands down.

My one big takeaway from this is, I actually wanna check out GodFall now. It's giving me strong Darksiders vibes.

File that new Spider-Man game as one to watch, even if you didn't play the last one or don't care about the subject. It's the one game that, early in the next console generation, is going to show how the new hardware can be utilized. Rumors are it's going to blow minds with what we'll see is capable.
Gotta say, the Resident Evil franchise has really spread their wings, in a good way. I didn't play the last title but it was supposed to have been something special. This one teased today looks like a contunation of that. I think they have the scary shit on lock. I'm gonna have to take off my scaredy pants and cinch up my brave big boy slacks and give 'em a go sometime.
One of those games was giving me Dishonored vibes. I think it might have been that caught in a time loop assassin game.

It's by the same devs (Arkane Lyon), so it makes sense.
It was also revealed last E3

Also, it's not Horizon Zero Dawn 2 or HZD2. The name is Horizon, with Zero Dawn being the first installment and Forbidden West being the sequel teased today. So Horizon Forbidden West. Get it? Got it? Good.
This will be interesting, because the first game was pretty much in the west, with landmarks in my neck of the woods and the Frozen Wilds taking the location to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. So I'm guessing the "Forbidden West" could be Nevada? or California? Or parts prohibited by the narrative with points near where the first one takes place that now will be accessible? I'm thinking maybe military locations in Nevada. Could be interesting to explore Area 51 in the framework of a Horizon game. Also, damn they keep diversifying the robot bestiary. A giant tortoise and mammoths now... cool. But how did they come to be?

You've got a desert. And mountains. And some shores, though that could be driven, or a newly-made inland sea (or a big lake).
This is post-apoc, so the geography could've changed a lot.

Oh yeah Jett: The Far Shore. That one got me to sit up straight in my chair and be more attentive to the proceedings. Wanna know more about that title. *filesinmemorybank

Saw some more pictures of the PS5. Laying flat, it looks like a lopsided reverse ice cream sandwich. Have they released any pricing options yet?

No price yet. I believe Microsoft has pushed it's big Xbox event to August. So unless some investors force the companies hands I wouldn't expect to get console prices untill then.

Jett and Pragmata are both such huge question marks for me that I find it difficult to care.
Way too much good-looking stuff shown these past 3 days, and probably loads more tomorrow.

6 hours of stuff today. From the Guerilla Collective (Indies, Baldur's Gate 3 and Paradox (Bloodlines 2!!!) news), to the PC Gaming show and the GamesRadar's Future Games Show thing.
Probably nothing super-crazy, but expecting some cool stuff. IGN's streaming everything, so I'd suggest watching there.

Okay, someone needs to explain Goodbye Volcano High to me. I mean, like, is the demographic they are going for the shoe gazing, black mascaraed, hands in pockets, walking everywhere, looking for a place to not stand out at the high school lunch period cafeteria politics, cutting oneself listening to Billie Eilish / K Flay, emo type?

I have no interest in these "coming of age" stories, but if I had to guess, they are looking at the Life is Strange and Night in the Woods demographic

Jeez, I have watched far too many trailers and gameplay streams this weekend.
Nothing super-crazy, though I did add like a doze n titles to my wishlist.
Hellpoint devs are saying the game will be out "sometime in the summer". So I'm not hoping for an early June release anymore.
Persona 4 Golden on Steam is a thing now, and it already broke the recod for most concurrent players for a single-player JRPG on Steam (just short of 30k). I also bought it, cuz at 23 CAD that's a steal and why not send Sega a message that more ports are good?
Mortal Shell, the cool-looking Souls-like became an EGS exclusive, and then showed off a lot of really janky looking combat gameplay.
Godfall put out a new video for the PC Gaming show. The devs are clearly in love with the Stormlight Archive's concept of shardplates, but don't want to say it. The game looks. Like that cozy, Darksiders II-type of generic with its art-style and aesthetic; if this gets okay reviews for solo play, I'd be tempted to check it out, actually. I did not expect that after the initial reveal.
A whole bunch of demos coming this week as part of Steam's festival of games. Hopefully some good stuff there as well.
Oh, and good news, Apt: Devolver is doing a thing in " mid-July". The saga of Robo-Struthers should continue!
