Of all of Sony's 1st party Studios, Guerilla seems the one in the best position, time-wise to have a game ready for next-gen launch window.

A sequel to HZD is the most likely AAA offering.

I could see a secret Naughty Dog reveal as well. They launched their Uncharted spin off in 2017.

*supposedly* Naughty Dog might be working on a new IP.

Another Sony studio that formerly did support work was rumoured to be staffed up to take over Uncharted.

But with TLOU2 releasing in May... I'm not sure they can deliver 2 high-profile games over a year.

I'm thinking something smaller but more spectacular. Like a Crash Bandicoot 4 or Jak and Daxter 4 or Uncharted racing. Something that wouldn't necessarily take 5 years to make and would be a fan pleaser.

But that could just be wishful thinking.

I am pretty excited by this. Loved the first game. I wonder if we'll get more of a focus on the origin of the signal that made everything go mad.

Just finished my second playthrough of HZD. *SO* excited for this. Though it looks like it'll be coming in 2021 instead of at launch. But I'd prefer to give Guerrilla the time they need to finish rather than have a rushed prodcuct.

In these trying times I doubt Sony are comfortable giving close approximations of release dates.

I'm guessing that snippet is from fairly late-game, since there's so many new toys and Aloy is on the Pacific Coast already
