Morgoth - has already scored the 16 influence PO, so he would have to score an SO + either the 5 tech planets PO or the spend 6 CTs PO. As of right now, it looks like he can't achieve either... probably/maybe. I wasn't too worried about him before as it seemed like Khell could always take him out, but not so much now

Twelve - his SO + any 2pt PO, which actually yeah he has a lot of influence he could spend directly or on CTs. Certainly needs keeping an eye on.

Okay Morgoth will go at some point and I'm not sure yet who all I think will get a refresh so I'm looking to stall. I think there is a decent chance I'll be needing to go through a wormhole to do some attack to give us all another round. The beta is closer to my limited ships. D'rek will you need to use the Beta wormhole to attack Toaster? I do have the action card that connects the beta and alpha but its farther away from my cruisers that can reach anything so would rather go there instead of the alpha.

Nom if D'rek has issues with the beta any chance you let me clear out the Alpha so it gives me access to the wormholes?

Yes, after Khell weakened the MR fleet I think it'd be wise for me to bring a couple more ships/infantry from my southern systems through the wormhole to take Toaster's 3-planet system, to up the odds of winning both ground battles.

But yeah, if the alpha was cleared I could go that way instead.

Well, I now have the new SO and can under no circumstance win this round. Unless I manage to procure 4 hazardous planets, which seems somewhat unlikely. Oh well.

@Twelve, if I target Fornacis with Unstable Planet would this be enough forthe free refresh or would you prefer a different planet?

At this stage, I'd be willing to do that for anyone attacking a leader on the premise you use it straight away. If I get it back it can go back out once again to the next needing soul. I am surprised Khell did not ask for it, and if he just needed to take Rex then why not wait for D'rek to move out first? Greedy SO hunting? Destroy a greatest ship combined with Rex? Don't know, but how would we work this? If I trade it to Khell on my turn, he could trade it to you on his if he is touching you.

I didn’t even think about your racial PN, to be honest. And I already explained why I didn’t wait: 1) I had an SO to take over Rex, and 2), I needed to play Diplomacy on Rex to refresh it so that I could claim the 16 influence PO. Achieving those was my final shot at keeping myself in with a chance of winning. I just didn’t have the actions left to wait for D’rek to move unfortunately.

Had to look up the card and map on this one. Doesnt look like that is an influence planet nor does it even have any infanty. Use it on D'rek's 2/3 planet after Diplomacy has been played if you can to prevent D'reks ability to gain CT and you can have one.
