You know I would really love to be there, head of the queue, out in front, throwing wave after wave of my own men until the Nekro reach their kill limit...but I'm somewhat short of actions, so...moral support?

Me too. I agree that it sucks for Toaster in this case, but I don't think it's a mechanical issue so much as Tatts and Nom playing weird.

I also disagree with Warfare or Diplo being bad. Diplo is the strongest defensive ability, warfare the strongest offensive one. Not wanting to use them and feeling like they are a "bad" is just the result of playing over-defensively, setting yourself up for not having an opportunity to use them if you do get "stuck" with them. If you put yourself in a position where you don't need/want any more technology but then get "stuck" with the Tech SC, that doesn't make it a bad card.

Also, I'll point out that with the planets-getting-exhausted agenda thingy I can't fulfill any POs currently. When I play IMPERIAL I'll get 1 VP from owning MR and that's it, going from 6 to 7VP... still behind Khell and tied with 3 other players.

If people give me the TG to build my flagship this turn, I could blow it up on rex next turn. Can't do it this turn though.

Opens up rex, costs me equivalent of 12 resources and locks me out of the ensuing scramble for rex so not something I'm likely to do otherwise.

This seems like a reasonable offer but if you have the destroy greatest ship objective then we would just be funding your VP. That seems like a great deal for you in that case.

I don't have that SO, and that SO requires you to win the battle. As does the one which requires you to win a battle with your flagship. The yin flagships battles never end in a win.
