Alright, a little bit of bad news. My grandmother passed away this morning, looks like I will be heading up north for her funeral on Wednesday (instead of on Friday for Thanksgiving) and likely out of town til next Monday or later. So unfortunately, I think it best that I delay the actual game start to next Tuesday, October 15. I'll keep an eye on thread, probably start up the Strategy Phase over the weekend, but I most likely won't be able to finish the map and prepare game PMs and all or do any of the normal map updates and whatnot until I get back home.

My condolences, too, Blend. Go do what you need to do, take as long as you need to, and don't worry about us. We can finish the snake draft on our own, and I can build the starting map in the meantime. I'll ask Tapper to go into the Galactic Council alt to retrieve any of the files I need, and if you need more time I'm sure he can cover doing any secret/random things we need to help me get us started in your absence.
