What happened to morgoths fighter in that fight? Also as written wouldn't morgoth have to destroy a fighter anf ground force due to capacity restrictions. Destroying his fighter instead of cruiser resolves those issues...

With the way you resolved the battle, Blend, two cruisers dying leaves only 2 and thus only 2 infantry can be supported so Morgoth would have to remove 1 infantry before the invasion step.

However, I think you missed that he had a fighter?

I honestly missed the fighter. I'll update accordingly, but just as an FYI - infantry are only considered ON SHIPS during movement, otherwise they are in the space area of the hex and can be used for invasion. If, at the end of a tactical action, there are more infantry/fighters in the space area than there is capacity, you destroy infantry/fighters at THAT point.

My understanding is that they remain in the space area until end of the tactical action, so even if he no longer had capacity, he could still use those infantry to invade.

I DID miss the fighter, so will update as IH suggested above, but yeah, am I misunderstanding how that works?

Well I did want it with my main fleet. But after looking at the map I decided to risk it. Only Morgoth, D'rek (with her action card) or Gnaw can actually reach it (that I'm aware of at any rate) of those I can only see Gnaw actually trying to kill it. But with his limited tokens I figure he would want to bolster his homeworld instead of wasting an action to kill a space dock. But Gnaw doesn't do logical so I probably threw away a token on it anyway but if I don't have to fight him in Starpoint New Albion that wouldn't be too bad a loss.
