What about some sort of military agreement about potential invasions coming through the Beta wormhole? Like assured PDS fire, help with blockading/defending MX/Beta if needed and possible and alike stuff

Other agreements depend on who does the invading - Blend, as primary wormhole exploiter, is my other neighbour and I'd prefer to be neutral/friendly to you both, for example.

A deak I am very willing to make is that neither of us uses PDS II when the other moves through systems within its umbrella (unless one of us activates a system owned by the other without consent).

This^^ I was expecting to get to warfare-build another carrier and move out from my HW to a second system.

I'll move adjacent first turn next round and give you my Trade Agreement + 1 tg for your 4. I'll try and pick a low-# SC so there's no risk of TRADE played before then.

Appreciated - kinda screws my round too, but such are the vagaries of life! I probably would have researched Sarween Tools though, had I known you weren't going to connect. My own fault for not realizing that, I guess!

I would appreciate such a construction - as things stand, I cannot research this round anyway and I would hate for these 3 commodities to be overlapped by another play of Trade.

As an aside, the Winnu start really sucks donkeyballs.
With a 3 resource HS, 1 carrier and only 2 infantry, it is seriously underwhelming and you need all stars to perfectly align in order to be able to have an average start, let alone a good one. 2 extra Infantry would have gone a long way to allowing warfare + second carrier for an extra move, or a 4/3 HS would have given research opportunities.

@Tapper, Winnu look really tough to play but once/if you gain access to Mec Rex then you'll be a tough nut to crack. Twelve was quite strong in the first game he played them and last game he almost got into a position to win.

Nom to research two tech you need to spend 6 resources even as the Jol-nar. If you research 1 then is free.

I had the secret objectives to score 7 points in a round last game but alas I couldn't get my hands on Imperial and you gobbled up my planets so I had no way of getting either the 11 planets nor the tech specialties oublic objections. Those same pds losses early game made it so damn hard to catch up.
