Well if Tapper can also agree to hold off any plans announced or not in regards to Rex until I have used it for influence or as long as possible I will then have no issue with giving him a refresh as well.

I mean, it's the difference between my taking MR on my first turn, or not... I said up above that I would agree to your deal if you would give Tapper the free refresh in exchange for his leaving New Albion alone for me. If you're going to reneg on that, I'll just take MR on my first turn and you won't get the 2 CTs out of it when Leadership is played. *shrugs*

I'm giving to him. I'm just saying if he does have unspoken plans to take it from me, by me giving him a refresh will hopefully delay him taking Rex too. Though I doubt it will prevent him from actually do so.

The only way he can get to Rex with what he's got on the map right now is if he has a Flank Speed. As you mentioned above, I assume he took Politics in the hopes he might score a Flank Speed, so he probably doesn't have one. I mean, I suppose it's possible, but in addition to using a Flank Speed which COULD be sabotages, he'd also have to leave his homeworld pretty unprotected to do it this round. Considering all my ships are withing reach of his HW, I'd be very surprised to see him make a run at Rex this round.

Yep. My experience so far is that it’ll be at least 2 hours.
