This also seems like a bluff, I don't think you'd attack Twelve in this situation. You have nothing to gain from it, and you'd probably lose the fight as well.

Since you thought you could win last turn, that implies you can almost certainly win this turn as you only need 2 planets, which would let you score two potential PO and then score your SOs....

Since starpoint new Albion helps you with both those objectives the mentak would rather like them back...
