Well, I've spent the entire day at a seminar about EU competition rules and how they relate to government spending. Finished at 7 completely exhausted. So now I'm on the bed with a beer watching the GF build a piece of Ikea furniture. Alas when I suggested she should work in her underwear she just looked at me. So I'm having a rough day too.

I'm supposed to play the PN right away right?

Not to mention oh ModGod, Blend apparently didn’t leave s provisional for his turn either.
So you didn’t send me a PM saying that Morgoth didn’t use the ceasefire. AND then you rushed Blend’s turn.
Please dear sir tell me again how you’re not taking this opportunity to punish me?

Look, it's not about punishing you. Frankly, it didn't even occur to me until Morgoth pointed it out after I asked him if he was playing the Ceasefire.
It may be very 'rules-strict', but Morgoth was perfectly entitled to say that you asked for Blend to play his turn, thus indicating your turn was over and that you could no longer revise yours once Blend's was posted (this is not something I at all thought about when posting Blend's action). How many times this game, for example, have I had to say to someone who wanted to rearrange their CTs again in the status phase after their turn was over that they could no longer do that (answer: too many times!).
You needed to have indicated either what the rest of your move would have been in the event of no Ceasefire being played, or, if you were unwilling to do that (which is fine), state that you were waiting on the outcome of another player's decision to finish your action. Instead, you said to move on. Is it legalese rather than the spirit of the game? Yes. But that doesn't make Morgoth's point invalid.
You don't think I would rather not have to make these decisions?!

Wait a sec... you mean you told him that I hadn't actually submitted a provisional in the event that he didn't activate ceasefire? I'm going to assume that that was after you made him make that decision...because otherwise I would be really pissed regardless of how bad your day has been.
No I didn't tell him that.
No, I noticed that you hadn't written anything other than that you were activating the system. So I asked Khell if that meant that your turn was over whether I chose to use the ceasefire or not.

That's not true. I asked Khell some time after he'd posted Blend's action.

Like IH says if this was tabletop Morgoth would have had to make the decision whether it not to use Ceasefire before we even got to Blends go. The time lag here is you've asked Morgoth AND then he's made a decision AFTER seeing Blends move.
If Blend hasn't made a move then what's Morgoths answer?
I think your wrong on this Khell as him seeing Blends move helps make his decision.

Under the circumstancesTwelve, no I’m not going to give you the ceasefire nor guarantee you Imperial. Morgoth has been a reliable neighbor.
So you are saying I give up and let Morgoth win? Or are you willing to do something else? Like say give me your trade agreement pn?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I rushed? Gnaw, you are constantly rushing people to post their moves, while not for the first time leaving out something/making a mistake when it comes to your own. You wanted Blend to take his turn, it was taken. You didn’t want the game slowed, it wasn’t. Now I should take my time.
Alright, Gnaw you have your Ceasefire back.
I will now be asking all players to confirm that what they have written in their posts is what they actually mean. I will not resolve any combat until any prior combat orders given are reconfirmed. Each combat turn will be posted and then we’ll wait to see if the players involved want to do something different. Better safe than sorry.

If I’m to be blamed because YOU were not specific enough, then we’ll just have to make sure that everyone is very specific at all times to avoid these situations.

The battle was fierce. I fought my way through families, old people, couples arguing and labyrinths of stuff. I was a true warrior though, and nothing in my path could stop me. To Laura's great annoyance. She wanted to look at stuff but I refused.

Khell, if you want to say that I didn't leave a provisional and therefore I can't attwck once the ceasefire wasn't activated because the next player had already posted their action, I'm not happy about it but that's logical.
What's not logical is that you're wanting to make that ruling when the next player's "action" was apparently made by you without a provisional to do so.
As for me rushing the game, yes I do try to do so to get around time zone issues. Last round we had a single turn that took 6 days because of the way the time zones split player turns. That's a bit ridiculous. In this specific instance there was no reason for Blend, D'rek, or Nom to await the outcome of my move. So why make them wait?
If you want to get pedantic, fine. I will post this here and in my PM:
Standing order: anytime an action of mine is at a point where further action is dependent upon what another player does or does not do, pause and tell me what the outcome of their decision is before my turn proceeds.
