I called it a while ago that he was going to win.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Yes, you're right.

Now tell me where you're retrating to!!!

Map notes: Morgoth's VP count is wrong, IH's Carrier might be elsewhere than where I've put it.

Also not that it ultimately would have mattered but i believe morgoths flagship would not have healed until after the combat round with d'reks destroyer.

Also damn didn't notice tapper had those PDS would potentially hace discussed a combined GDS PDS if i had, ah well too late now.

Looks like the price for me to attack Morgoth just went up. IH see if you can get those TGS off Blend so you can funnel a good many of them to me. And I'm going to need a Morale boost action card.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

It says 'at the start of each space combat round'.

Duranium Armor - During each combat round, after you assign hits to your units, repair one of your damaged units that did not use Sustain Damage during this combat round.

Is what morgoth has in his post. The key phrase is after you assign hits.

I should say, that's not a Non-Euclidean Shielding/Duranium Armor thing, that's the special flagship ability.

And so morgoth needs 1 more tech speciality planet which he needs to hold to the end of the game to win, and presumably a SO he thinks he can score.

Clearly it's going to be Tar'Mann. Looks like Morgoth wins. I can do nothing and the game ends or those that still have a shot can pay up the nose. I'm all for the Later. So let's hear the offers.

So, Gnaw. Were you serious in your offer of the SftT?

Very

If IH attacks me back I'll offer you my SftT, but i'll need a guarantee that you'll leave my systems alone, including the empty one. Sounds good?

Right up until you're the points leader.

Technically I’m leaving your systems alone. As long as you give me back my ceasefire.

Here is my price to prolong the game: a shields holding action card, a morale boost action card, Morgoth's ceasefire, 8 TGS non pillaged and the Imperial strategy card for next round.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I do wonder at everyone giving tapper such a hard time about trading with me, and not twelve for making deals with morgoth when morgoth is clearly in the better point scoring position. Anyone trying to win should be trying to stop me AND Morgoth. It's annoying but part of the metagame of discouraging letting someone get a clear advantage over there neighbour. Because usually near eliminations happen when someone is left alone to attack someone, and why I have helped tatts, nom and blend when they were in poor positions.

Oh don't worry, I definitely think Twelve's dealing is utter folly, too.

It's funny how everyone gets all bent out of shape when THEIR games are on the line... Didn't seem like anyone really gave much of a shit when it was mine.

So what, I'm supposed to just sit here and let you guys play because I have next to nothing left in the game? I'm supposed to just stay in my corner and stop playing the game I'm still a part of? I'd say maybe yall should have a look at yourselves before you start talking about how it would be an asshole move for me to use my resources and TGs however I deem fit.

You misplayed and your game got fucked. It happens. Then there was a missed error that made it worse. That happens, too.

Tatts also misplayed and his game got fucked, but you don't see him trying to feed the leading player just for the sake of ending the game sooner. Realistically, Nom, Twelve, and I don't have a shot at winning this anymore, either, so should we just give all our TG and PNs to IH, too? Should I just vacate all my planets and let him invade for the sake of finishing sooner?

If you really want out, that's fine, just tell Khell and we'll treat Silvano as being a neutral planet and Muaat as eliminated.

So because you guys are not choosing to play kingmaker means that I should just sit quietly in my corner?

The moment Gnaw took Muaat I stated very clearly on thread that playing kingmaker is what I would be doing for the rest of the game, particularly if it stops Gnaw from winning.

I literally can do almost nothing more this game for myself, why shouldn't I use what power I have to sway the win besides the fact that it means that a few people who might win if I don't get involved don't get to win?

There's a big difference between "I'm out of the running fair and square so I'm going to help this player who was my ally/had good relations with/I feel bad for try to win" and "I'm upset at the whole thing, think I was unfairly maligned, and now seek to simply to spoil the game by ending it unnaturally fast". The former feels like it is the result of diplomacy (or lack thereof). The latter feels like jealous whining and not something that can be avoided (there will always be someone in last place and you can't make another player feel like things are fair or not).

The way you've been posting has felt a lot more like the latter than the former. Not 100% of the way there, but much closer.

I think it's worked out just fine. I have a lot of leveage that I didn't have before. As of now I have zero chance of winning. If most of my demands are met I have a greater than zero chance to win.

Though it'd be a lot more likely if Gnaw would bloody do something. Heck, Morgoth left him two completely empty planets that wouldn't trigger a ceasefire/sftt PN or anything...
