That's a huge problem, because that means that Gnaw would not have had the ST to move his ships using Warfare secondary, which basically would have changed the entire end of last round and particularly how he managed to take Gwynan back.

That's a huge problem, because that means that Gnaw would not have had the ST to move his ships using Warfare secondary, which basically would have changed the entire end of last round and particularly how he managed to take Gwynan back.

Normally I'd say let's just move a TT into ST, but his taking Gwynan and wiping out my War Sun crippled my entire game, and I would have done many things very differently if my War Sun hadn't been wiped out at that point...

He likely would have ended up wiping it out anyway, but not likely over Gwynan as I would have moved my War Sun to Dal Bootha/Xxehan as my next action, then moved the Cruiser and Carrier to Quann, leaving Gwynan unguarded, but Quann and Dal Bootha/Xxehan guarded.

I would have played Leadership instead of using the racial. So I would have had the CTs to build dreads instead of a war sun and move them with warfare. Your war sun would have died anyway.

Short of replaying the round there's nothing to be done. I made a mistake and khell didn't catch it. I took the CT off this round so forced me to change what I wanted to do already.

Edit: it also probably means I'd have been able to get the Politics secondary and have 2 more ACs.

I may be teaching a module on counterfactual history next year, but I am not going to indulge in what ifs here. Suffice to say I’m genuinely sorry for not catching it, but there’s nothing else to be done about it now.

I think losing my War Sun and all my ships is a little more than just a small difference guys.

2 dreads are not the same as 1 War Sun. 2 Dreads and 1 cruiser had a 4% vs 88% chance of a win against what I had in Gwynan as opposed to the 1 War Sun, 1 Dread, 1 Cruiser which had a 33% vs 13%.

In short, I'd have a fucking chance now instead of no chance in hell.

Had my War Sun not gotten destroyed, Gnaw would not likely have taken Dal Bootha/Xxehan, either, cause that's where my War Sun would be sitting. And there's even potential that he wouldn't have taken Quann. That's a big fucking deal.

Unfortunately I'm with Khell on this one. Too much has happened since and these types of mistakes happen all the time in complicated games like this. Unfortunately this mistake wrecked your game. It sucks. I know the feeling.

How would you know the feeling? I fixed any mistakes I made when running the last game.
