I have added the upcoming agendas to my status phase start post.

Edit: I think they're super interesting and I'm looking forward to see what happens! :)

Hmm. How many votes does D’rek have?

Certainly gonna be interesting to see where the Riders and Macaw's Galactic Threat will land on those agendas.

I think we have to ensure that Drek doesn't win the second one, otherwise she'll just be an even crazier powerhouse than she currently is. I'd really like to see someone other than Nom be elected for that one, but I'm assuming everyone's going to be looking at him given he's currently in the worst position game-wise.

Maybe me? I'm not in a great position, and surely you all want me to keep D'rek occupied?

I'm sure we all want it but can agree we don't want D'rek having it. She's got the votes though.

There’s a good chance I’m going to drop it on D’rek. Poison pill her on that one.

It is going to be interesting - Drek could put all her votes on AGAINST on the first agenda, so if we want to ensure she doesn't make a bunch of people lost points on that agenda, we'll need at least 24 votes on FOR, and then also 24 votes on someone other than Drek on the second one.

It's doable - we have 58 votes spread across everyone other than Drek (and Macaw) - but we'd have to be pretty coordinated to do assurances.

I wouldn't mind throwing my votes at Tatts for second agenda to ensure Drek doesn't get it.

I wouldn't mind being the one elected for the second agenda either - I could certainly use the Tech boost, and it's not likely I'll be getting the tech primary for some time yet, so really it'd only be saving me 4 resources/TGs per round.

I'll throw my votes behind tatts or nom for the second agenda if there is a galactic bid to keep it out of d'reks hands, if anyone else wants it they'll have to offer something and guarantee the votes to stop d'rek getting it because dear god the jol nar would be terrifying with that law.

I'd be willing to give you my Trade Agreement in exchange for your votes on me for that agenda.

IF I can find enough additional votes to ensure at least Drek can't outvote me.

If you can secure 8 more votes (I'd assume nom would vote for d'rek to keep it from you) then we have a deal.

I'd toss in my Political Secret PN for those 8 votes for Blend. And yes that means galactic threat will be riding on it. Both Blend and IH have cruiser II.

Edit: looking at the vote count, Morgoth how about you jump on the Blend bandwagon with all your votes for my political secret PN?

In essence, the holder of that can determine which agenda my galactic threat gets placed on.

Woo!!! Take him up on it!!!

I feel kind of dirty working with the filthy viruses, but hey, when you're trying to buck the chains of Jol-Nar oppression, you do what you gotta do!

If I am going to vote for the Muaat, rather than tatts or Nom I would need something much more substantial than that. Blend is powerfull in a good position. Nom and Tatts are at a serious disadvantage, and they're bordering the two races that benefit the most from peace and quiet. Giving it to the Muaat is absurd.

Well, need to come up with a consensus pick or D’rek will end up with it.

And Tatts doesn’t appear to be beside a peaceful race...

An even better reason to help tatts. The Jol Nar needs to be pressured otherwise they can easily run away with the game.
