That’s what I was thinking but D’rek wouldn’t have asked... So I looked it up. The war sun nullifies the planetary shield, hence I can bombard and megan defense grid can’t be used, but the PDS still gets to shoot at the incoming infantry.

That's what I was thinking but D'rek wouldn't have asked... So I looked it up. The war sun nullifies the planetary shield, hence I can bombard and megan defense grid can't be used, but the PDS still gets to shoot at the incoming infantry.

Haha, yeah wouldn't that be amusing. Alas that would give away the victory, and to be honest, I am ready to wrap up this game. I'd happily play another one, but I've not had as much fun being locked up in the corner, even though it's been good from a pure points gathering perspective.

Yeah, I have no desire to drag this on unnecessarily. And I wouldn't be frustrated by such a thing anyway, as I would know Morgoth had willingly chosen not to end it when he could. Even if I or someone else were to technically win after that, it wouldn't really feel like much of a win now would it.
