Honestly, I don't know where my resources are going to come from next round. Turns out you really can't play the Saar this way. A 1-resource stronger Saar not bothering you and needling your rivals is better for you than getting into a fight with me over Mecatol and then allowing IH to mop up your remains, should there be any.

My thinking is that once his flagship is built it'd be better to have a smaller army to face.

If I could attack him this round, then maybe leadership for you and diplomacy for me might be the best way to stop him completely.

If he has a little army left, you could go first with leadership and destroy it before he takes a turn, and just in case I'd have a second army ready to go in on the next go in case he survives your battle.
