2 - Commit Ground Forces -> If there are 5 or less Saar infantry on MR: Commit all 3 infantry to Mecatol Rex; else stop here
3 - Space Cannon Defense
4 - Ground Combat -> Fight! Both Super-Dreads (+ Plasma Scoring) use HARROW after each round.
5 - Establish Control -> if successful

CURRENT STATUS

Victory Points: 0

Command Pools: 0T | 3F | 0S
Goods: 0/2 C | 0 TG

+ Sarween Tools -- When 1 or more of your units use PRODUCTION, reduce the combined cost of the produced units by 1.

Didn’t see that one coming.

Cause it moved her Dread 4 hexes. Sha bang, she had it planned from the start of the round with her strategy pick and token count.

I saw her making a move for Mec Rex initially, but later on thought the possibility was low because of the few infantry she had around to try and take it. Of course, I completely forgot about the Lizix Harrow bombard every turn trait.

Alright, game map has been updated and the Status Phase has begun.

Agendas are posted on thread in the start of status phase post as well as in the OP.

As a reminder, if you would like to play an action card or ability that affects the agendas (such as a rider action card, an action card that swaps out an agenda, or the Xxcha's Quash ability, for example) please do so during your status phase post. If you are swapping out an agenda using an ability or action card, I'd appreciate if you give me a poke via your chat PM to ensure I get to it as soon as possible!

Are we allowing action cards gained this status phase to be played? If we are you might want to dish them out now.

No - you may only use the action cards that are currently in your hand (as I can't hand out action cards before people have posted their status phase post as it might affect certain aspects of the post - I posted an explanation about when action cards would be handed out during the first status phase).

So all the ____ Rider ACs and the Veto AC must be played in your Status Phase post. Then you receive new ACs. Ancient Burial Sites, Assassiante Representative, Confusing Legal Text, and Distinguished Councilor can be played in the Agenda Phase as normal.

Right?

What about Political Stability? (The only Status Phase AC, and it's "play at the end of the status phase" - normally you'd be able to play it right after picking it up, and it doesn't affect Agendas, nor does it affect other players until the coming Strategy Phase)

Correct - aside from the riders and the veto AC, other ACs that affect the agenda phase, but do not directly affect either agenda, can be played as normal.

Humm.... If one picks this up during the status phase, they can play it on the same status phase. Same goes for the above four cards you mentioned - they can be played during the same round. Just riders and vetos can only be played DURING the status phase, and you can't play one that you pick up on the same status phase. Make sense?

It should also be noted that should an agenda be swapped out, everyone who has already posted their Status Phase posts will be given a chance to either confirm their post, or provide an update if applicable (i.e. everyone gets a chance to play riders and abilities on the new agenda, even if they've already posted their status phase update, though they will still only be allowed to use ACs that were already in their hand).

Yup, makes perfect sense.

Status Phase
> Agendas are revealed
> Play Riders/Veto (and Quash and such)
> the rest of Status Phase (including drawing new ACs)
> Political Stability

Agenda Phase
> Voting and playing applicable ACs as usual

Strategy Phase, etc...

How does the ministry of industry even work? Not sure I understand what it means that units use production. Can anyone explain this one to me?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

When the elected player places a space dock using Construction, he or she can immediately use production on that space dock (and any other units in the same system that have PRODUCTION such as Morgoth's infantry) without having to activate the system.

Not even just with CONSTRUCTION, any other method of placing a Space Dock also applies, too.

Also @Blend - I think Corneeq/Resculon need flags on the map from when Nom vacated them.

Thanks - it will be on the next update. I will also include a flag on Nevant which I missed during your invasion of Mecatol.

I’m assuming that means when you build a dock you can use it immediately. Not certain if that means it can be used on a turn later in the round. I’m guessing not.

It could if the system isn't activated.

Tatts already posted in his status phase that he did not want to use any ACs or PNs.
