Arya has three chapters.

I heard somewhere that Arya's chapters will continue in aDwD - anyone know if that's true?

I certainly hope so. That can't be her entire story for 5 years.

I ever tell you that I made the mistake of reading the prologue for book two that come in book 1. It was the only greyjoy chapter in the whole book and I really wanyed insight into his mind. really to see if he really thought of ned like a father. lets just say I learnt something else about ned that almost had me throw the book and myself for revealing it into the fire

Reading a preview for the next book before finishing the first is rarely wise.

I will not look at the spoiler...I will not look at the spoiler...I will not look at the spoiler...

When does the next one come out? I thought Martin originally said that Dance with Dragons would follow soon after Feast.

Thanks Coco.

I was going to pick up Feast for Crows at my local B&N today, but then found that Amazon was pairing it with a discounted hardcover of Memories of Ice. So now I've got Erikson and Martin coming in the same shipment. Sweeeeet!

The one thing about Martin I can certainly appreciate is that unlike alot of Fantasy writers (apart from Erikson) alot of the main characters die. Which adds alot of new "blood" to the story. I can't wait to get the book. Come 3:00 end of the work day, heading to chapters.

Could someone add "Spoiler!" to the thread name, just to ensure that no one stumbles in by mistake (I think that if you check a thread about books you haven't read, it's really your own fault, but I'm in my nice mood today)?

Spoilers ahead, mark to read!!!

For a moment, I thought we were done with Brienne the Highly Irritating maid of Tarth, but she'll probably survive :D
Any guesses to the word she cried out at the end?

The one thing I did notice was that the book may have been split in half but it still cost the full price for half book. I am always leary of spending 40 dollars for a book. Especially hardcovers, due to the amount of room they take up.

Spoilers

"Any guesses to the word she cried out at the end?"

perhaps "sword" - since she was asked to choose between sword and noose, that would mean she accepts the rebel's task
