Wait, is the assassination being played on me or not?

I'm thinking...

Alright, so I was thinking about going in post order and hence ItGnaw's post would see Khell blocking himself from voting on StP, therefore hold back the assassin.

BUT, that's a dangerous precedent to set - incentivizes everyone to hold back as long as possible in playing ACs (not that I'm *that* worried... this is like three quarters of the agenda phase cards played right here so there won't be that many left).

So we'll stick with them being played simultaneously, and in which case conflicts resolve in Speaker order as per the official rules. Speaker is Tatts, meaning ItGnaws "goes" first and wouldn't know of Khell's intent to play the tech rider, plays the assassin, then Khell laughs and plays the tech rider.

That's fine with me - except, am I not still Speaker until Round 3 begins?

Fair enough. I understand the point. Don’t have to like it though.

BUT....isn’t Khell still Speaker until the next round starts????

So does this mean I can vote on the first agenda?

Yes (that was never in question)

His imperial rider doesn't cancel his voting like the other riders?

I can't vote on Plowshares, but can on disarmament.

????

That's Tatts.

Oh. Doh. Thought that was you. Damn. That’s why I voted for Zohbat.

Yeah. ^^. That.

Edit: and props to the Solarians for their honesty. We hope that they, as the Protectors of the Custodians remain so honest in their dealings.

Yeah. ^^. That.

The Speaker token denotes the Speaker, yes?

Twelve. What is it worth to you for me to NOT use

CP | Assassinate Representative | Play at the start of the Agenda Phase | Choose a player. That player cannot vote on this agenda.

On you?

What do you want? I have a pn that stops me from voting so you could save that action card in the future on something you deem more important.

That would work for me.
Deal?

If I'm trading this pn and trading another to IH I'm doing it because I want this to pass. So my proposal to you is this; I trade you my Political secret pn for you to not use your action card and vote for plows hares to pass. If you agree to this then yes we have a deal.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Hmm

Tatts == 7influence

IH == 11 influence

Morgoth == 8

Tapper == 11

Twelve == 12

ItwasGnaw. == 10

Khell == 12

Nico == 4

Blend == 5

Is that right?

Morgoth can't vote.

Ohhhhh. That makes my decision a little easier.

And I have 14 not 12
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

So based on the riders just played. The price of my votes has just gone up considerably. Tapper, you up for voting this down? The benefits to everyone else seems to massively outweigh a for vote.

The Naalu would like the Ghostly Ones to know that the author of that unofficial Gweet (galactic tweet) has been removed from his position (and his head) and that the official stance of the Naalu Republic is that we request that the Ghostly Ones take notice of our gracious support of our next door neighbors in their endeavors and that this will strengthen our somewhat tenuous ties in this small corner of a large galaxy.

My suggestions for disarmament:

- Jord: No infantry on there.

- Starpoint: If we're feeling nice, compensate Tatts 1TG for not getting the VP.

Ok. See. This is my problem with this phase. It is highly beneficial to the procrastinators.

This is how it would be in real life as well. The action cards would be played, and then everyone would start bargaining for votes.
