Re agendas not massively interested in either, but I have a lot of votes to play with and willing to support anyone. Will probably go for the rerolls for myself if no-one suggests some other deal.

Right now, commodities swapping will have to be determined once we know for sure what Tatts does re: the free refreshes. I'll definitely be doing some swapping with Twelve and most likely Tapper. We shall see what I have left after that.

I realize that you haven't been openly hostile towards me, but given you're right at my door, I want to make sure you don't have an easy time just taking over my planets. If I can prevent you from refreshing your commodities for free, that helps ensure that you can't just steamroll me right away. You're going to have to be aggressive eventually!

I'd have thought you'd have wanted to keep me strong so one of the more militarily threatening races don't end up taking all my stuff and bordering you.

Based on my reading of this game I'm not sure military aggression is required, but interesting perspective.

My entire strategy has to be based around controlling the economics of this game, and the only way that I have to control other parts of the game is through money and what I can to control people's money.

I can't stop you from building more ships, I can't stop you from attacking me, and I don't have access to a very powerful fleet to start with, so this is my way of ensuring that you don't get bigger than your britches!

I gotta finagle a win somehow!

Yes I would love if you played diplomacy this action but not enough to pay for it. I've already bribed Nico to wait until after you play it so I should be good. I was also willing to vote for you on the reroll agenda. So between the 2 of us we can dump enough votes to get it passed. Will that be enough incentive to play your strategy? If so how many votes you want me to commmit?

Sure, you have 12 votes right? Do you want to keep any back particularly for another reason? I'd like at least 8 of your votes. Does that seem reasonable? Trying to work out this voting system.

D'rek explained the voting and it's not that hard. Votes have to be cast in chunks based on the influence value of your system. You can't vote for more than 1 player for elect player agendas, not sure if the same applies for planets.

So I have no issue spending 8 to elect you if you burn diplomacy as your next action.I do want to hold some votes back for the second agenda. That one could really hurt me defensively but not sure if I really want to try and avoid it either as you can actually turn a profit on it. Which planet are you thinking of stripping of troops if you are willing to tell me?

seeing how it would seem I'm not getting a free refresh this round, Tapper, I can only provide you one trade good. However, considering how expedient I have been in removing myself from the system I hope you'll find that 1 commodity for 1 commodity will be sufficient.

Also, tatts and Gnaw and Nico, we're all getting closer together too. I haven't really had the capacity to spend time communicating with you guys, but it would seem we're all pretty close to becoming neighbours. It would benefit us then to wrap our fleshy appendages together in a very non-disgusting sign of friendship.
