For my sanity on the card phase can we say which cards have been chosen and what’s left.
I’ll start since I’m being the guy suggesting.

It should be noted, however, that from what I've read, Morgoth - aka Nekro - need to attack often and attack hard in order to have any chance at winning, so Khell could very well have his hands full.
Especially were the Nekro to accept a bribe from the Emirates of Hacan in order to ensure that such pressure remained on Khell.
I commit to nothing yet, but let us say that where Hacan gold shines (aka anywhere in this galaxy), there are possibilities!

Yes, I pointed this out some time ago Maybe Morgoth will just disappear through a wormhole and leave me alone. OR MAYBE I'LL CRUSH HIM! Or, once again, there's that wormhole option

The University is terribly powerfull, if they're left alone to do their thing and tech past their early weakness. I'd rather that not happen, and what better way for them to feel pressure, than for me to leave you alone? Sure, I need battle to gain tech, but there are 9 players in this game.

Yeah is a bit confusing but I think the warfare card means I can move my carrier two spaces?
Also can someone explain the purpose of 'fleet' command tokens? I'm assuming it has something to do with how many ships you can have but I can't for the life of me find it!

How many non fighter ships you can have in a system at any given time.

Don't Fighters count if there is not enough Carrier capacity/ Space dock capacity for them?

Again, D'rek will correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure, but no - the fleet counters represent the limit for non-fighter ships in any one of your hexes. That being said, I don't believe fighters can move without the big ships though as their movement is 0. So they need to be carried around by the big ships, but you can basically have as many fighters as there is capacity on the ships you're moving.

I was surprised to see how many big ships Nekro start with, and the planets around him allow Morghy to keep churning out big fleets, yeah.
I do believe he wants to roam a bit, though not too far: perhaps to the other side of a wormhole, or to Mecatol Rex. It doesn't do much good for him to go and fight IH in the Ydrassil home planet for tech if his fleet can't be reinforced afterwards, after all. So, going much further than one move away from his closest Space Docks doesn't make much sense. But since the VP objectives contain quite a few scientific ones (gather 2 of one color, gather 4 of one color, gather 2 techs of 2 different colors), he might need to fight people semi-regularly anyway - or be very good with agenda-guessing and/or vote purchasing.

With regular Fighters, they're never a factor towards Fleet Pool. They must be carried within the Capacity of a Carrier/Cruiser/Flagship/War Sun/Dreadnought or supported by a Space Dock and therefore don't count towards Fleet Supply, or else they're unsupported and explode.
If you have Fighter IIs, then they *may* count towards Fleet Pool if and only if they are not being supported by one of the above. E.g.: you have a Space Dock (supports 3 fighters), a Carrier (capacity 4) and 8 Fighter IIs in one system - you need at least 2 Fleet Supply (one for the Carrier plus one for the one excess Fighter II)

Hey no throwing me under the terran bus. Khell if you leave me alone I'll give you a free refresh of your commodities and i can probably be convinced to sweeten the deal a bit more as well. I have no idea what I'm doing at the moment so give a brother a chance.

Alright folks, race banners are up (see links on the first page), and I've made official posts for all the strategies chosen so far, which means the game is now officially underway!
Next up is Tatts - you can choose between DIPLOMACY or IMPERIAL, and ItGnaews will get the remaining one. Then we're on to the Action Phase!

So what's the idea of the banners?
I'm kind of tempted to make it my signature for the duration of this game... Can I do that?

{a} it helps people keep track of who is who in a 9/10-player game, {b} it keeps things clear when I'm posting on your behalf, {c} it makes it easier to find certain information if you're scrolling back through the thread looking for something specific.

Alright then! Strategy Phase over, onwards to Action Phase 1!
Turn order is: ItGnaews -> Tapper -> Tatts -> Blend -> Nico -> Twelve -> IH -> Khell -> Morgoth -> back to ItGnaews
I've posted an updated map. Gnaw/ItWaesNom, one of you can post your first tactical/strategic action in the game thread as soon as you are ready. For tactical actions, I recommend just copy+paste from the "All Steps in a Tactical Action" on page 1 of this thread, add the details and remove the skipped parts.

Can we add player names to the banners/map? Not always easy to tell who is who!
