Really disappointed we didn't get the rumoured Splinter Cell reveal but otherwise a nice conference.
Now to get 5 hours of sleep before I get up early to watch the Sony conference before going to work.

Woo! BGE2!
Actual Gameplay? maybe?
Ooh, it's Pey'j!
Amazing trailer, but.... gameplay? sigh...
How the hell is Jade in this now? And why is she so emo?
This is so weird.
But fuck, yes! Gameplay! Or not.
Building a universe... it's like Kickstarter.... but for a publisher. Outsourcing content creation. It's a pretty novel idea.
Now THIS is a game that's most certainly gonna be next-gen.
And now Siege. Again.
-as an e-sport. yawn
AFKed for about 5 min. walked in on what I think is a Div 2 trailer? with a horse? I like horses.
Yup, this is Div 2. hope I didn't miss AssCreed.
So, this is now even more like MMO.
More Rabbids content? is that a games as a service too?
-Oh. They are bringing in DK.
And a music number. Of course, there's a musical interlude. This IS Ubi. Is this gonna be the song from that Dk cartoon?
Nope. And this does NOT look X-COM-ish>
Oh, now it does
okay, NOW it's Skull and Bones time!
so, a new trailer (story?)
and a gameplay? some customization? but no crew customization.
so.. is there actual combat when boarding? Hrm
oh, hey, it's that Elijah Wood VR thing. And the man himself
Shit, that's terrifying.
Oh hey, it's that StarLink thing that's not coming to PC grumble grumble.
WTF? Starfox? wow, how long until Ubi and Nintendo just merge into one company?
Aww, this is awesome. Cute, but awesome.
And now, Odyssey. Nope, For Honor. I knew that.
I may not like these types of games, but I gotta give Ubi credit: when their devs thank their "player communities", it feels genuine- unlike, say... EA.
And that... looks like... Dynasty Warriors?
And now The Crew
Okay, so NOW Odyssey?
Holy shit, it IS Sparta!
Even MORE RPG!
-Ancient Greece- so, it IS the Pelloponeisan War. That's pretty sick.
In development for 3 years.
Oh, those accents. I have Greek a greek co-worker, and her mother has that accent.
-So.... our "hub" is Athens? while fighting the war with Sparta? -and going to Crete, if that minotaur statue means anything.
Wait, why is a Spartan outcast helping pro-Sparta rebels?
Unless Athenians are supposed to be the bad guys? I'm lost.
AssCreed- the kickening
So... we are helping bring about the downfall of the Greek civilization by undermining Athens. Why?
Oh shit. This year's release. Well, Ubi DID need a heavy hitter.
And that's a wrap.
Solid, but not earth-shattering.
Went back to when I AFK'd. I missed a new Trials announcement. Well, that's Ubi's "2 new games per E3" quaota right there.

Does anyone know what the hell Transference is about? I guess I missed details? Or did they not reveal much about a game that is coming this October?

you are teh child. your dad did some... experiment thing involving all family member's minds.
the "mind" is "corrupted" somehow. And you switch between diff family members' "minds" (perspectives?) to "solve puzzles" and progress through a psychological thriller.
Originally revealed last E3 as a VR only title, now it's gone mainsteam as well.

I'll be peeking in and out on the PC Gaming show, probably.
Also, my interest re: "The Quiet Man" has gone down, since Squeeenix describes the game as completable in one sitting.

ooh, Forgotten City looks... interesting. Apparently, it's a super-popular Skyrim mod gone standalone.
OOH! SINKING CITY!!!!!
no quest markers, use the clues and speak to suspects to figure stuff out.
-I like the Idea of no handholding, but I'm terrible at adventure games, so I dunno...
No release date yet, sigh....

OOH, Insomniac.
Making a VR game. daymn
Stormland... that's a pretty game. Too bad it's VR only.
Also:
http://www.eurogamer...s-creed-odyssey
AssCreed totally going RPG. Apparently, the Origins + Odyssey duology was initally planned to transition the series from action/adventure to RPG. And Ubi is going ful Bioware with it- romanceable characters, dialogue trees, quest chains on each island.... I'm guessing this is where that "inspired by Witcher 3" part comes in.

ok, nothing else too crazy from the PC gaming show. Except there's an open-world RPG where you play as a shark, munching on tourists, fishermen and sailors.
Bring on Sony in an hour.

Square Enix:
- It might be just me, but Shadow of the Tomb Raider somehow feels like it looks worse visually than the previous title. The animations certainly looked more janky. I'm a bit worried about Eidos Montreal taking over from Crystal Dynamics for this.
- Nice to have a reveal of a couple of brand new IPs. Both Babylon's Fall and The Quiet Man (was that its name?) looked intriguing from the brief videos, though no gameplay in either. Didn't catch who the developer for the latter was, but the former is Platinum Games, so will almost certainly be a fast, action-heavy game.
Ubisoft:
- Alright, I admit it, I LOVED that Just Dance opening number. It was just great
- Still no gameplay from BGE2, but it looks cool. I played the original many years ago so can't remember the story all that well, but how is Jade in this if it's a prequel?
- That was a bit awkward when the BGE presenters left their mics on after leaving the stage! "WE NAILED IT!" Uh, sure you did.
- Even more awkward was the mic catching the Ubisoft Paris guy complaining about them constantly changing his entrance!
- Skull and Bones intrigued me more this year than last year, think it was the ship customisation and loadout options that did it.
- So Odyssey is set before, uh, Origins?
No real, or indeed any, surprises at the Ubisoft show, but they do seem to have a lot in the works. It's also noticeable how much of it was about new updates to already-released games. Games as a service eh?

OMG! This can't. No! My heart is going to burst. Are they kicking off with Red Dead Redemption 2?!?!?!?!
[EDIT] Neverming. Whew, that banjo had me worried. Sounded too familar to RDR

Last of Us 2 will probably be day 1 buy for me, not even looking at reviews. Probably the best or right up there with the best story telling in any video game franchise.

Wow, an "intermission" after one presentation? Ummm, maybe they are having technical difficulties and so are using this as a cover?
Or, is Sony's conference so involved that they have to let the next act set up like it's the next band at Cochella or something?

WTF is Sony doing in that intro? some kind of VR plug?
ok, actual show. The religious metaphor feels a bit too thick, tbh
And now a banjo? Sitar? I dunno. This could segue into anything.
Okay TLOU. to be fair, it's the game i'm least interested in, so it's okay that i'm being AFK'd by parents right now.
as i'm walking in an out, glancing at the screen, I'm feeling loads of similarities to Tomb Raider.
Obligatory VR segment
Oh hey, we're back to Destiny
Ok, this has to be Tsushima
So. Much., Grass
Bandits are dressed beter than us
Arkham-knight-style- triple takedown
Leaves, and blood on the sword. Most noticeable things
Okay, that totally looked nice.
is that... Dreams? that game is alive? Feels Inception-ish
Could be a new Remedy game, too Felt very Quantum Break-ish
-yep, it's Remedy- COntrol
And this is... Resi 2? I think it might be! With a release date, too!
An exclusive,
and more Kingdom Hearts.
ookay, Death Stranding. Gameplay montage? of some sort?
3d walking sim? and... stealth? somehow?
Beyond concfusing
And this looks like Nioh 2? Yes, it is.
And Spiderman? Are we wrapping up already?
-This is VERY Arkham. not that that's a bad thing.
I am not familiar with Spiderman lore, but 5 villains feels a bit overkill, even if they don't seem particularly competent.
Ok, looks like it's done. But there's another game announcement post-show.

And it's a new From Software PSVR game. No Bloodbourne 2 @ E3.
