Remember in previous years both Sony and MS have boasted about tons of games at the conference only to show 5 minute compilations of 20 small games coming to their download store, etc.

That is true, but Microsoft has been hyping up their show as "the biggest EVAR, so if they do 10 brand new indie games in a single 3 min clip, that won't be received well by anyone

Damn, watching two preshow discussions prior to MS confernece and they both keep talking about a new Gears of War and a new Halo...... yucky, bleeaachky, and gross.

I could see them pulling an EA and unveiling/showing a ton projects that are only in the planning stage/first year of development. Just because of how desperate they are to calm down the people who complain about no games.

If that's the case I can see them showing plans for Fable, several Halo and Gears games, Quantum Break 2, Ryse 2, Dead Rising 5, Battle Toads Royal, etc. Just fucking pile it on.

I like Halo, not a fan of Gears. But my yucky response is just more or less exhaustion from always playing it safe and going back to the same well. I just wish they would come with something we haven't heard about yet. Something new and interesting, that gets us excited.
