Hi!

First at all, sorry for my english, i'm spanish and my english level is not the best... but i will do my best... or i will try it haha
Well... I spoiled myself reading info about 1 character,
Spoiler
...
the fact is that i'm very curious, and i wanted see the image of this character on Malazan Wikia... and well, I saw the BIG announcement of big Spoiler and I don't know why I thought that would not be very important, and I wanted know if will be appeared or mentioned in future books to know more about this character...
And when I clicked in that hyperlink, this redirect me at the
Spoiler

The question is, in which book is this event revealed?? Actually I'm rereading Gardens of the Moon before continue the adventure and read for first time the 2on book...

Thanks!!

Amaram's character page... very good... And I intuit that Kellanved is really Amaram, and I guess that Cotillion is Danzante (in spanish), him companion (don't spoil this plis haha)

Hi and welcome. Don't worry about your English, you're clearer than many of our English speaking members. :(

Unfortunately there are a LOT of spoilers out there and you're going to have to watch out.

The Kellanved/Amaram (Amannas/Shadowthrone) and Dancer/Cotillion thing is hinted at in GotM. Since this is a reread, you may remember it's not outright stated, in the book, but the connection suggested... Madman Emperor and his assassin are missing... Shadowthrone is nuts and Cotillion is an assassin... Dancer... Cotillion is a kind of dance..

It will be made clearer in later books, keep reading. Books 2 and 3 are going to blow. Your. Mind.

But for godses sake, don't go googling for any more characters because you WILL be spoiled, hard. :)

The hints are actually already there in the first novel, but I believe you get the full confirmation in Memories of Ice (3rd novel). So it is a spoiler in case you didn't pick up all the cues in GotM, but as far as spoilers go for the Malazan Book of the Fallen I would consider it a fairly minor one, luckily. It should not significantly spoil any of the future books for you.

Enjoy your read!

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

If you are worried about spoilers but get stuck anyway, just ask here on the forum instead of searching the Wiki or Reddit. The Wiki is great and they try to keep spoilers at bay, but it is quite difficult to do especially when you include things like images. Just make sure that when you use the forum to ask questions, you choose the right thread. General threads will contain spoilers for all the books, but each book has its own dedicated section in which you should not find any spoilers beyond that specific book. I envy you; you have a great journey ahead of you!

If you still want to look for images on the wiki without spoilering yourself, go here. You can't search for specific characters, but it's a collection of fanart galleries sorted by book, meaning that whenever you finish a book you can go and look at the images for that book without danger of seeing anything spoilery.
