Town has enough trouble with regular set-ups, let alone this set-up.

Town loses in 4 days.

I mean, clearly people don't want me to run it, so I won't, but I think that you're over exaggerating a little bit. The SK certainly helps to mitigate any advantage that scum may have. I'd really like to run that setup one day, just to see!

It'd need to be run as a high TMDI with clear guidelines.

If the serial killer chooses town? 2 kills a night and it becomes a scum v. SK game.

Sure, which is why it could only be run with a big enough group - i.e. at least 14 players. A proper non-mini game should last around 5-6 game days.

With 14 players, and 2 deaths per night, WCS DDay is on Day 4. If one scum or the SK is hit in the first four days, DDay gets pushed back, and then there are the town abilities that could help push that back as well.
I think it's reasonable to expect such a game to last AT LEAST 5 days, and up to 7 or 8 with a pretty good chance for town to win.

Keep it simple for this game. We just finished a complex game and need a palate cleanse. Furthermore, we have that newbie that I really don't want scared away.

Alright, well, at 14 players, I'll be looking at 2 scum and a symp against 2-3 town roles and 8-9 RIs.

I may go either lovers and a healer, or a healer, a guard and a vig.
