Having done the re-read, I still dunno where Ando and Kruppe fit in. Excluding them (since bitching about low-posters without actually doing anything about it- and running a train to L-3 w/o encouraging others to do anything about it is NOT being active - is just about as perfect a distancing tactic as you can get) b/c they can be literally connected to anyone:

I'm left with Mac, Nom, khell, and tatts.

Khell and Mac is an obvious partnership, since khell has been pretty adamant that Mac is not scum.

Khell and tatts can work as well, due to the fact that prior to today they have not actually interacted in an adversarial manner- tatts spending most of his time trying to wifom the thread into lynching me, while khell flooded the thread with his analysis, though its quality feels to be not really as fine as he posits.

Khell and Nom is a less likely pairing, because he's been in khell's radar since Day 2. I can't exclude a sacrifice to gain thread cred, of course (it IS khell, after all), but it's still a more remote possibility.

I can't really exclude Nom and Mac- Nom was the first vote on Mac, and on Day 1 that means less than what khell seems to feel- especially since the train went nowhere.

Mac and tatts is far less likely, due to tatts placing vote 3/6 on Maci that could have been a swing vote and in a Day 1 situation, that's a risky move to make.

Tatts and Nom work as a tandem for most of the game- voting first Mac, then Venge, then (eventually) mess. If tatts is symp, then Nom's likely the master. 2 killers drawing this much attention by being on same trains this close to each other? Seems less likely.

There's also the matter of tatt's repeated comments about Nom, starting with the "he posted the horse, he has an NK!!!" The fact he keeps pointing out how Nom cracks him up could be a symp trying to get master's attention, not sure.

Ando not with Tatts as dislikes Tatts' push on Mac.


Tatts and Ment were doing quite a bit of mutual protection for a while - Tatts saying only Ment would NK him which leads to all sorts of speculation, Ment being adamant that Tatts is playing towny.

Looking back, it strikes me that Khell might be reading way too much into (mostly) Day 1 play. Especially in cases of early votes, I wouldn't rule out distancing as easily as he does.

True. And I said that earlier. I was hoping that it would strike up more debate than it has though.

I jotted some thoughts down now. I find myself agreeing that Nom draws the most connections (only one I don't see him linked to is you).

In order of lynch preference I'd say its

1) Nom
2) Tatts
3) Maccy/Khell.

Always useful to get a second opinion on things - eventually. That's exactly how town should be working (you know, if you are town ).

After reading up I can say that I find you all scummy bastards and I hate you all.

My top suspect would be Khell, I think he has the most possible connections to partners, bit blinkered towards Mess when he admitted day one it was just gut, then day two he goes after him again. He mentions the one on and one off approach to the game which has me thinking that he wants to guide us that way, so possible main partner would be Mac. I see defense from Khell towards Mac and ignorance from Mac towards Khell yet on day one Mac followed Khell's vote and on day 2 Khell followed Mac's vote.

When he did his analysis I got the impression he was focused on Nom as main scum but ended up going with Mess and not because of Mess' play but the situation around Mess getting votes which Nom was the cause, according to his analysis.

So I'd vote Khell, Mac then Ment as my top 3 scum suspects.

If tatts and khell are not linked, then most likely link is definitely Nom, imho.

The reason I was initially suspicious of him, BTW, is his role on starting 2/3 Day 1 trains, and then after the roled town massacre he really sat back. He's posting, but it was mostly sarcastic/ironic jibes (that you keep finding hilarious), and not much else.

Also I didn't really "argue visibility" with him- I replied to Bliss' post saying I'm always visible in altless, and I just assumed everyone would be, too. Frankly, at the time, I had no strong opinions one way or the other, :shrug:
