Hi all,

One nerdy obsession of mine is using my favorite fictional characters as inspiration for my D&D characters. In particular, I've enjoyed 5e and the options of customization available. As a thought experiment, how would you assign classes and subclasses to your favorite Malazan characters?

I'd assign classes according to need or interest, so Geography class to Cartographer and English as a Second Language to Nep Furrow.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

None currently exist that would do that easily, but an Arcane Archer from previous editions could basically attach spells like Thunderwave to an arrow, which would totally fit the bill for a sharper (minus any fire I guess). A fireball spell for a burner....

Realistically, Fiddler would be a rogue thief with a bit of monk in him I'd say.

Actually, I'd probably say Fiddler has some College of Lore Bard in him, of course.

Off the top of my head....

Kalam = Rogue Assassin
Quick Ben = Evocation Wizard
Sinn = Wild Sorcerer
Whiskeyjack = Battlemaster Fighter
Dassem Ultor = Way of the Shadows Monk
Kilava = Circle of the Moon Druid
Kallor = Champion Fighter
Anomander Rake = Oath of Devotion Paladin
Karsa Orlong = Path of the Berzerker Barbarian
