Like who has died so far?
Drusilla, Spike, Buffy's mom, and apparently two other people I forgot
There was also Angel mentioned somewhere in the flavour, didn't he have some fancy neutral shenanigans going about him in the last game?

Ah, Giles, well that knocks out one of my thoughts for an alternate finder. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jenny Calander as a finder though either.

Oh yeah right Giles, I remember Giles being the only person knowing Buffy's identity in the last game

OK, can somebody explain to me why everybody has assumed Spike+Drussila were the only original vampires? What about the Annointed one?
Also, Nimander insinuating he could've ascertained any one's faction, or that he has had anything to do with the night kills on vampires is a plain ass lie. It makes me even more certain he has to be a vampire.

The Anointed One and Darla were the two vampires (to start) in the 1st Buffy game. A game with 15 players. Subsequent recruits were human to begin with. When they died, they CFed as vampires but still could be identified as recruits by their former human names.
This game has 12 players. Do you suppose this game with less players would start with more vampires than did the last game that had more players?
Drusilla and Spike are known vampires. Neither are human recruits. I doubt there's an Anointed One in this game with less players. So Drusilla and Spike started and are now dead. Remaining vampires are all recruits. Can masterless recruits continue recruiting? I wonder.

Yes, I finally looked at the last Buffy game, but not in depth. Still, I see no good reason for this one starting with more vampires than the last one did.

I forgot about the vampire Angel, but he was on the human team.

Okay, I'm going to sleep within the next hour or so. I'll have a little time to check in before I leave for work. I'll vote then if I see a good reason to.

The Anointed One was not in the last game, that was the master.

That's still one more vampire to start with in a game that has less players, whatever their names are.

There were some independents in the last game though, weren't there? I'm sure an additional Vampire could be easily balanced with more town roles. Nonetheless, regardless of how uncertain I was before making my claims on thread, Nimander's reactions have been anything but townlike. He's lied to the thread and misled us all without a second thought. That is not town behavior.

Not sure how much time left or when I'll be next around.
I'm going to

Because I'm keen to get past this stage of the game and I think this is the most sensible move based on what I make of the game. There is a chance that Nim could be Buffy, but if that is the case, the amount of scrutiny now almost makes them a liability as they're diverting attention from others.
I don't think Nim's case on Lock is particularly strong. The thing that does make me hesitate more than most things is their pronouncement some time ago that Rashan was not a vampire - which was probably their strongest hint at a finder ability. Did Nim say it just to give that impression, or in truth? That's what I'd like to find out now.

Otoh if he really did a find on me how could he be so sure even the next day? He didn't acknowledge the possibility that I might already be recruited until I pointed it out, which seems off. Maybe he somehow knew I haven't been recruited and it was a slip, but even without this possibility it's suspicious.

Lock is back. This makes me happy, because he still doesn't make any sense and hopefully digs his own grave with every post.
First, the theory that we started with three vampires. It's extremely unlikely for two reasons. First is more speculative: we only had 12 players to begin with. 9v3 with recruitment is out of balance and nothing so far has indicated we had lots of power roles. The second reason is way more important: the past couple of days. If they started with 3, they would likely still have 3 (OG vamp + 2 recruits). We have 7 players, so vampires would only need to convince one townie to get a lynch and drive it home. And yet here we are, in a stalemate for A WEEK. If there were 3 vampires around, we would have gotten to a lynch by now. Which means there aren't now, nor were there 3 vampires when we started the game. So Lock's version of events doesn't hold up. Again.
It's also funny how Lock bounces back and forth in his own convictions. First he came on thread claiming that I killed Silchas and am vampire. Then, when I countered he softened and was more like 'yeah, maybe'. Obviously his fake reveal put me on the defence so as I started deconstructing it, Lock kept avoiding confrontation on thread, because he knew he can do nothing to back up his claim and the more he says the faster his lie will unravel. Days later - incidentally after a moment when I start taking a little less fire - he finally grows enough balls to post something of substance. And here we are, from maybe, to non-entity, back to 'I'm sure he's lying and has to be a vampire'. Make up your mind Lock, you're awfully shaky.
For me, the case on Lock is clear as day. I think I gave you enough to show that he's lying. Or more precisely, lied once with the fake reveal and conveniently took the backseat while forcing my hand to work hard to stay alive. I don't think it's D-day yet, so if you can't get over Lock's claim, it makes sense to lynch me just for the CF. But I also know it will hurt our chances, so I plan to just keep going and tearing down Lock's lie.
My second candidate is Jalan and if there are two vampires still left, he's probably Lock's partner. Kilava looks townie.

2 vampires against ten town is a normal town vs scum game.
A) In a game where town has an accurate find and kill machine like Buffy as well as other roles, wouldn't it make sense for the vampires to start with more than two?

C) Your claims on thread are plain, bald-faced lies. A townie wouldn't make them. A vampire grasping at straws would.
