Since that time, I wonder if he actually did some quick thinking, realizing not getting it would lead to the conclusion jumping it eventually did lead to. He's not PI in my book.

Maybe it was only 5 or 10 minutes later, I'd have to look, but there was definitely a delay between Galain "not getting it" and "getting it." Of course, Ampelas never got it - and got a rope instead.

Ok, got about 30 min before I leave, so I'll try to do a quick re-read.

I think I'd prefer an Osseric lynch, though I'm thinking the Sorcerer may likely be more involved in steering town than that. Thyrllan and Nimander seem more obvious but only as low hanging fruit in my book. I'd think the truly ebil would be more crafty, as has been mentioned by others. Still, if 4 of you can agree on a prime candidate I'll be here through Nightfall. If you can agree, even if the choice is me or Rashan, I'll join the train or hammer.

So I went for a walk around the church, just to think by myself for a while. By the way, that sacristy is beautiful Father, really surprised to see that in such an out of the way place. Not much security though for a room which was supposed to be holding a diabolical time of black magic and the like. I mean, I don't want to point fingers, but just saying.

Speaking of pointing fingers, seeing as we're all finally giving voice to our thoughts and the like, I suppose I should too. There's a few people I don't like the smell of (aside from Silchas and Rashan har har). So on my walk I was thinking back to when Kilava first vouchsafed for themselves, and others began chipping in too. Now from what I remember Jalan never said anything, they just switched their vote to Ampelas with nary another word said either way.

I was going to make a point about Galain's reaction to it, but Thyr has already said exactly that. But I would hasten to add that I seem to recall Thyr's hesitant confirmation being quite similar to Galain's reaction - is that wrong?

The last person is Nimander. Keeps to themselves that one, real quiet like. Now, maybe that's preferable to my periodic panic attacks, but they just strike me with going with the flow of this whole situation - and how can one do that?

I need to think more about whether I buy Galain's and Thyr's reactions, so I suppose Jalan and Nimander are currently the ones I would most prefer to keep locked in the side chapel...or, well, you know.

I'd expect a Sorcerer to either be anxious to post early for getting a juicy role, and thus steer town, or lay low as much as possible for as long as things are going wrong for town as they usually do early in a game. The only hangup I have about going with Osseric is of course the posting style, which stands out enough that I'm not sure someone in the Sorcerer's shoes would want.

Exactly this. I think it's best to test the theory. I mean, I think it's more likely that he'll try to kill me until I'm dead than raise someone again right away, but either way, there's no need to leave Rashan around to test this theory. If we leave him around, and it turns out that he can resurrect more than one person, then instead of only having 2 scum left on thread, we'll have 3, and that number will just keep growing.

This way, we get to test our theory, get rid of a scum recruit, and can continue trying to find the sorcerer except with more information about how his mechanics work than we currently have, and one less player on his team.

This, to me, seems the best course of action. I sort of want to give a warning that I will hammer in 15 minutes to give people a chance to object, but their objection would likely come in the form of a "remove vote," which would tend to piss me off.

Plus, it will be after midnight here if this day runs its full course, which is (for me) quite inconvenient.
