I mean, given I don't know who's hiding behind the Kilava alt, it'd be impossible for me to actually answer the question. If it was Khell, I'd say that Khell is full of bones, that's why he must always die as soon as possible. If it was Tatts, I'd say that Tatts doesn't need bones, he's plenty random enough to do something like this. If it was Messremb, I'd say that it's Messremb, the forum's best symp, bar none. Anyway, I could come up with reasonings for everyone, including the newbies, but heck, they wouldn't necessarily apply because I have no idea who Kilava actually is.

I tend against lynching someone for Day 1 frivolity. If it continues into Day 2, then I'd be happy with looking at it as potential symp-work - i.e. doing shit just to muddy up the thread to make it harder to find scum. But it's Day 1, it's not unusual for someone to be less than serious, heck I've done it many times myself, though I try to err more towards actually playing the game, even on Day 1, personally.

Re: Nimander - this is just the age old "Should we lynch an inactive player on Day 1" argument. Policy-lynching someone isn't ever a terribly GREAT idea, but if we're going to do it, Day 1 would be the better day to do it on, especially on a Day 1 with so little actual content to work with.

Seriously, though, what are we supposed to do now except lynch you before you kill someone randomly? If we let you live, how are we supposed to know if you are not actually scum? If there is but one death tonight, you can say you didn't use your NK and lost it, though you might be scum who actually did the killing?

I hate these types of 'cases,' but I have to point out that Kilava is speculating mechanics openly, which is always more helpful to scum than town.

That being said, I've no idea if there are traditional scum in this game, though from the opening scene, I would assume it's basically a town vs. scum with some weird mechanics and roled townies.

Do you see any other reason that PS would ask people to post in "purgatory" in alt? I specify purgatory as it seems likely from this that the dead go to Spoiler Hell rather than Spoiler Heaven - for the new players we have an additional "dead" thread on occasion for game reasons, locked away from the rest of us.
