Look at the timing of the post and Path Shaper's Night Reveal. Like 4 minutes after. I read it and immediately thought: "Some fucking vig just blew his load because he wanted to cross someone off their list. I don't know if Sierjeg or however you spell it has reason to be on a list. I hardly play. It doesn't matter. Vig blew their load on Night 1 for no fucking reason (in my mind) and it's shit play (sorry, but it's true unless you accidentally hit a symp).

As for my vote, I was under impression we needed a vote to lynch (obviously wrong but not my fault). The lynch gives SOMETHING to work with on Day 2 rather than nothing. A place to at least continue making connections, separations, etc.

Listen, if I did both of those things as scum, I'm TERRIBLE scum. And if you seriously think you caught a slip and aren't just making an easy case, fair enough. My CF will clear me. But.... I'm NOT terrible scum. I play it pretty good, actually according to track record. I'm terribly busy towny the past couple of days. Normally I post a lot. Can't help I'm either at work late or out of state.

Okay, so I am sceptical about Silchas slipping. It would have to be a super dumb slip too, after all what are scum most focused on if not kills. But I also don't see the vig being a vengeance/list thing - I think most likely they just wanted to pop one off before being knocked off themselves...premature yes, but stil somewhat understandable.


Anyhoo, my thought (and apologies if this has been already posited) is that there was a lot of positive-to-sure why not attitude toward lynching Rashan yesterday. The lack of a real alternative also made them an even likelier lynch. Thus, scum may have felt little pressure to contribute by jumping on the train, as the lynch seemed likely regardless. My suspicion then is that at least one, if not both, killers would have stayed off the train, and that's a manageable number of players to look at. I'm confident at least one of Ampelas, Denul, Jalan or Merrid will turn out scum. I'll be having a look at them tomorrow.

Underlined: No. It's not understandable. If you consider balance, the Vig is there to take their best shot a scum towards mid or end-game. Just using it "because you can" is completely selfish behaviour that does nothing for town other than reduce its chances when it's fired off like this.

Yeah I meant to look at Osseric and Kilava, but by the time I got back I saw the sheer size of the Kilava-Ampelas debate and just decided to temporarily drop it. PLus the Vig kill was irritating, and Jalan's idea was not actually bad.

I did not vote to lynch immediately. It was an early day 2 vote to get Silchas (who has been a very low poster) out and talking.
