If memory serves me correctly then you were scum that game, and Khell didn't spend the whole day pointing at you, it was more like the back end of the day when you had already played quite scummy throughout the first part of the day. Have you got a link to that game? I am sure I am right, no one just followed Khell, they looked at the reasons.

Agreed. The last time we VPI'd someone due to correctly fingering scum early game didn't turn out so well for us as town. Khell, the ONLY way you can know 100% that another player is scum on day 1 is by being scum yourself and tossing your partner under the bus. Which we all know you'd never ever do.

You're not getting it though - this has been a wonderful Day 1. Yes I'm got my blinders on, and the main reason for that is definitely meta "he's on my list" crap.

But my single-minded drive to have Khell lynched has very clearly polarized the thread. It no longer matters whether or not Khell is scum. His CF, whether it be town or scum, will give us enough information to then start parsing that polarization. If he's town, one side of the fence is more likely to contain scum, if he's scum, then the other side is where we start looking.

I mean, it's still early, but I think that lynching anyone else at this point is a mistake. You have a 'case' on JPK, but it's not really a case, it's a bunch of bullshit that Khell spun out of nothing to give you guys something to latch onto instead of my very obvious, mildly tongue-in-cheek (but not really) drive to get him lynched.

If Khell ends up being a townie, AT THAT POINT and AT THAT POINT ONLY will we have more reason to dig deeper into JPK. For now it's just gut feeling and speculation over nothingness.

So we all come into the game and have clear motives and objectives on how to catch scum, or if we unfortunately draw the scum card revise our strategy to try and stay alive. What you are doing is portraying yourself as the person to listen to above all others, that your way is the best way. By getting people to follow you and make you important you get to stay alive, and therefore it would be a great tactic for scum to take. So I am taking what you are saying with a pinch of salt. You don't have to comment on the 11 other players until day 2. Therefore you got no connections and it all hinges on Khell's CF. IF he turns out scum then you cannot possibly be his partner right? Or if he CF's town then you can play the game "properly" and woe is you but at least your list is satisfied. Lynch you if we must but you were just a blinkered townie.

Thanks Mess, I don't think there is a normal way I play the game, a few people hadn't checked in when I left work yesterday, and I did try and get as many interactions going as possible. Are you saying that is me acting differently?

Alright I'm back, had my phone temporarily confiscated because someone found out my class has access to teachers' accounts of our ranking software, school camera system and such. And that we're able to connect to all the HDDs even without the passwords.

Nom, I was asked what I thought of the people that had been on my train up until that point. I've covered Khell and Macros now based off of how they're playing. Are you seriously trying to convince me that Macros' playstyle today doesn't raise potential scum flags for you? At all? He's been barely active, half-heartedly defended Khell and then stormed off complaining about how no one had written an actual case and was voting based off of meta and gut without putting an actual case out there himself. Can you look at his play and tell me that there is no chance that he is low-posting scum? I say the potential is there, because I highly doubt that all three of you that were early on my train are town.

If we stall the lynch, we WILL end up back at competing trains of me vs Khell again tomorrow. I would place very very high odds on there being at least one scum on my train already.

Every time Blend came back with his VOTE KHELL posts, Mess was there to encourage that but withheld his own vote. He was pouring gasoline on the fire, but through a pipette. Yeah, and I stand by that statement. I have been caught on the wrong end of Macros' gut judgement too many times. It was entirely a comment on the meta interplay between him and I, that usually ends up with me dead either by lynch or NK.

However, I didn't put my actual vote on Maccy. In fact, I never came back to that comment. But Khell sure as hell picked it up and is trying to run with it. Don't let him run circles around us again. We should all know better than that by now.

JPK manages to claim he masterminded a bait Khell very conveniently fell into and that he does not do complex play in the same post. Almost in the same sentence. Later he reiterates that claim. Another person that has piqued my interest is Nom. I'm not gonna quote his case on JPK for the sake of readability (the post is long and mostly consists of nested quotes but it's this one: https://forum.malaza...18#entry1274818) but it was a decent one. The catch on the timing of JPK's posts was really good, coming back to JPK's latch onto the 'so-called slip', obviously the bait bullshit. For a D1 case it really comes together... BUT THEN.

With regards to the black guy in a toilet, that happens quite a lot in Liverpool in near enough every bar and venue. He sprays you with aftershave and you tip him a quid or something, they make a fortune doing it as they are providing a service. Costs a lot to set up, buying all that perfume/aftershave, but once started they make a mint.

I have got no idea what he's on about saying you should be more like Blend/JPK. Blend is so tunnel visioned as to be the complete opposite to your scattergun approach. TBH Mac is who I expect the "x is scum and I'm going to ignore everything to the contrary" from.
